We had the pleasure of renting from Ruesch Companies when we relocated to the area in 2021. I noticed some negative reviews on here and didn’t feel it was an accurate depiction of the Ruesch Companies we experienced. Our experience was excellent the duplex was in a great area making it welcoming and clean. The layout was well thought out and worked excellent for our family. The property far exceeded the competing places while looking for a nice accommodating rental that allowed pets. The property manager Amanda that met us was very nice and down to earth unlike many others we encountered. Any issues were handled prompt and professionally and we were never pestered like at previous rentals. They really did make it feel like it was your home. We never met the owners but felt the employees were a good reflection of what kind of people they are. Keith in maintenance was friendly and handy. Every other office or maintenance employee we spoke with were always delightful and in great spirits. I still recommend Ruesch to my friends and co-workers who relocate to the area and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from or use their storage units again.

Cosmetic damage is not considered important. Scheduling work orders is what the office does however if you ask for followup they are not able to give time frames to when repairs will be done. It has been 2 months since a tree fell on my property. I finally got ahold of Mikayla the wife of Shane the owner and she advised me that if I was unhappy with the progress that I should find some place else to live and to stop calling the office 2 times a week or so. I am a perfect tenant. I feel unappreciated and would like to remind Ruesch Companies LLC that my requests are important to me and I hope to get things done before winter. Having 10 contracted workers for 300 rental properties is not sufficient. I am highly disappointed and upset! Oh and I was told I would get a new deck due to a huge tree falling and busting half the deck off. I am being told that is not true. I have a 2 year old daughter and we play on this deck every day.

Less than professional communication. It often feels like your talking to a snobby pre teen if you can even get someone to respond. Lease is worded in a very gray manner so nothing is quite clear. On the plus side if your in need of a place quickly then they will get back with you fast.

I lived there for 1 month. I was on a month to month lease which they charged an extra $100.00 more ,which was unknown to me before move in . I never unpacked . It was horrible there.
No lawn , I endured 3 different varieties of ants and spiders. Burner never worked . Screens missing .And many other problems. They said 21 days before I get my security deposit back and claimed iit was sent to me . Well it has been a week since talking to them . I have yet to receive my security deposit .
Looks like I have to go to court .
Thank the Lord I have receipts and pictures and many witnesses to back me up on the condition I left place in , immaculate . And what I endured with my brief time there .
And why are we waiting 21 days to get security deposit back Be decent and write the check like renters HAVE to .
I also ended up in e.r. from a bad spider bite on back of thigh and was on Anti biotics for 20 days .
So that is recorded too.
This company is badly managed and unpleasant . At the time I told the gals in that office about it .
I know I over paid when I moved in . I have all paper work . Sad when the renter has to fight in courts because a company has a one way street pay now or leave
but they do this to people . SMH
Beware hidden fees !!! Terrible just terrible !;
I will be contacting owners as suggested by my attorney.

Moved into a dirty duplex where previous tenants smoked this was verified by the smoke damage on the walls and ceiling. Next door neighbor also confirmed the previous tenants smoked inside. The landlords deny the previous tenants ever smoking in the house. Spent well over $100 in cleaning supplies to clean up the place. Next, if you have a concern or issue hope you can call every day 3 times a day because you can almost never get ahold of a someone. Of course with our luck the bathtub started cracking in one spot. Tried to put in numerous work orders for it with no response back. Finally get in contact with someone and they tell us they are waiting on the company to reach back out to fix it. The tub has been cracked for 3 months and 6 days at this point. Called very often to only hear " Still haven't heard back" or "sending another email". The crack that started at about an inch long is shy of a 12 inches long today. Save yourself frustrations and find another company to rent from.

Absolute worst rental company I’ve ever dealt with. I wish I could give them zero stars. They do not care about any tenants or even their own property. They only care about collecting rent. They are the definition of “slum lords”. Their construction workmanship is even worse; the flimsiest/cheapest material you could possibly imagine. DO NOT hire them to build for you, you will regret it.
Also, they somehow managed to hide my last review…

We have rented from Ruesch for 3yrs now and absolutely love having them as landlords. My septic went out and they were very prompt on getting a new one put in. Our air wasn't working at the beginning of the season and he was here to fix it the next day. I was a little sad to read other reviews people had wrote. Thank you ruesch for being amazing.

I speak to my family members renting with ruesch. They sound like all they want is their rent and thats it. Not fixing anything for months unless it will cost them too much money if gone untreated. Yet they make you pay for all of your utilities, if you are going to let people live the way you do, at least pay for water or gas.
