Amy Ruiz is the best real estate agent we have ever had the pleasure to work with. I selected her initially because her resume was head and shoulders above the many others I reviewed. The fact that she coaches and trains up and coming realtors caught my eye. Also, where many agents gave stock sentences to describe their work, Amy had written a more personal and descriptive account about her work ethic. Her attention to detail and personal service was evident. That she is bilingual in southern CA was a bonus.
As soon as she started, she was incredible! She was meticulously organized, prompt, friendly, caring and courteous. She was super conscientious about making sure our cats were not accidently let out of any open doors. She fielded all of our questions with expertise and common sense. She made sure she was always available to us. She crossed every "t" and dotted every "i" with the various paperwork - legal disclosures, appraisals, inspections, offers, etc. She researched how best to "sell" transferring our solar loan. She did open houses regularly. She had her trainees involved to help out too. She made videos to post on social media to show the house. She even did a special Halloween video in costume...and brought my husband and me a big pumpkin pie! She made what can often be a stressful situation so much more manageable. She went above and beyond at every turn.
Amy was all in and therefore dedicated to doing what was best to get our house sold. This even involved some self-sacrifice, giving up a portion of her commission to the buyer's realtor when that was what it took to finalize the deal. Did I say dedicated? Dedicated!
She also coordinated our securing an excellent realtor in the state we were relocating to, who ended up closing us on our first choice house, seamlessly timing-wise. We closed on the sale of our house with Amy, then one week later closed on the purchase of the new house we bought clear across the country.
Amy is a rare perfectionist who, despite having that "Type A" perfectionism trait, is always "Type B" easy-going in nature and such a pleasure to be around. When we chose Amy, we got so much more than we had even imagined. In addition to getting an expert in her field, who was skilled and savvy about her business and who got the job 100% done for us, we also got a friend for life! We still stay in touch to see how things are going. Amy is AMAZING and you will be very blessed, if she is your real estate agent. I HIGHLY recommend her!
