Our group of 10 adults gathering for a 50th birthday had to change venues last minute when a rental from another agency became inaccessible. Sanctuary Vacation Rentals made this so easy and had the most incredible property that was perfect for our celebration. Communication was clear, the house was even better than the photos, it was very well equipped and clean. We were extremely pleased with our experience.

I can highly recommend Sanctuary Vacation Rentals - we stayed already 2 times with them (2022 and 2024) for over a month in Monterey and Pacific Grove. Both properties have been taken well care of and the service in case we needed something was very efficient. Thanks to Brandon, who was our technician and came by a few times when we needed assistance. I would definitely use Sanctuary over Airbnb due to their service level and local presence in the area. Recommendation: use WhatsApp for international customer communication instead of sms (saves money for both parties).

I used Sanctuary Vacation Rentals to rent a house for a vacation with my husband and dog in Pebble Beach, CA this month. From the moment we booked the house, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The process to book the house and then enter the house once we arrived was quick and easy. We were greeted with wine, crackers, cheese and a lovely note and the house was clean and tidy. A staff member also called to make sure we arrived okay and if there was anything we needed. They provided a number to text them if there were any questions or concerns. I would definitely use Sanctuary Vacation Rentals again in the future!

My family and I rented a beautiful home in Carmel through Sanctuary Vacation Rentals. Their communication was excellent. They called shortly after I booked online, to gather information. Before my check-in, I received emails with all information about the check-in process and how to obtain the keys. Upon arrival, the home was heated and soothing music was playing through the tvs. This made for an inviting entrance to the home.
Sanctuary made it so easy for me to reach out to them with questions. I could simply text them and they would respond within a few minutes.
We definitely plan to rent through Sanctuary in the future.

My family had reserved a beautiful rental home in Pacific Grove for a week in February through Sanctuary Vacation Rentals for my 80th birthday: one week before the trip I got seriously ill with type A flu and we, unfortunately, had to cancel this trip. At the time of booking I was encouraged by the Sanctuary representative to purchase trip insurance through Red Sky Insurance Company, so I did, thank goodness. We submitted the required physician's statement within the second week of my illness, the claim was accepted and we were refunded the total amount minus the insurance fee within another 10 days...AMAZING! I cannot express how grateful we are to both Sanctuary Vacation Rentals and Red Sky Insurance for their honest concern, care, professionalism and ease of getting through this very unfortunate event. In this day and age of so much being impersonal, these two businesses are shining stars and I recommend them without any exceptions. We will absolutely plan another trip with them soon, looking forward to their exceptional service.

Such an amazing property! The property managers were communicative and gave great information about the property. This location is incredible. Across from the water (you get to watch the otters play all day) and the walking path it's tempting to just sit at the large windows and watch the view. But you are also close enough to walk to groceries and restaurants alike. Parking is safe and close. Inside is luxurious with all amenities you can imagine taken care of. Can't wait to come back!

We rented a gorgeous home - inside and out in Carmel. We needed a place to stay with family nearby. This rental by far was the most beautiful, convenient, and fully stocked home. Each room had a desk which was perfect for the three of us working remotely for part of our trip. We have family who lives nearby for over 20 years and always love visiting this town - the restaurants and shops are so fun. The rental company was super thorough and will definitely rent thru them again in a heartbeat!
