I worked for Savvy Bears for more than a year. Seth and Molly are amazing people, a pleasure to work for and super easy to communicate with. They truly care about their business, including the homes, homeowners, guests and employees as well. I witnessed every day how they go out of their way to accommodate guests with their needs, early check-ins, fixing everything as soon as it is possible, giving awesome gift baskets with snacks, wine and seasonal stuff.
All rentals have very high standard of cleanliness which is inspected regularly.
I gladly recommend Savvy Bears to friends who need a place to stay in Big Bear and to home owners who need management.

Have rented from Savvy Bears for years, 3 to be exact. Always a pleasant experience. Anytime we had an issue it was resolved quickly and they were minimal at most(dryer issue or light replaced). They do a great job to upkeep their properties and always want the best experience for us and our children. They have amazing maintenance tech and cleaners that pay very good attention to detail. I would highly recommend them for a vacation rental. We have stayed at other rentals and always return to Savvy as they actually keep their word and are in this business for their customer satisfaction. Family owned and operated by a lovely local family. 10/10 will continue to return.
P.s. after reading some of these reviews I feel that most of these 1-2 stars are just not openly communicating with the company which is a red flag on the customer, not the business.

Molly Mei and her Savvy Bears team was very accommodating for our Airbnb stay in Big Bear. They are very responsive and proactive.

I have traveled for years and this is the worst experience we have ever had. The property should not be rented out we stayed at on Alta Vista Rd. The master bedroom had a obscene urine smell, which we did not stay in - sleep downstairs.When we spoke to Molly who was suppose to be the point of contact / owner her response was 'urine is common in pet friendly places'. This smell was coming from the mattress in my belief.

Second Bedroom, TV didn't work...excuse was that has never happened before.

Water heater was leaking and hot water went out. Was told they have someone coming 2 days after we were to checking out.

Toilet stop working in second bathroom.

Bug found in masterbedroom that we believed to be bed bugs.

And yes it's more, they over charged per the rental agreement and I can still go on.

They knew of these problems before we checked in and was not willing to resolve all the issues just have a abrasive attitude. Owning properties myself I'm throughly convince this is a issue they have with other properties they may rent out and being unwilling to be accountable is not right...BEWARE.

We had a great experience with Savvy Bears in Big bear CA. We called with short notice and they accomodated us with no problem. Seth and Molly are problem solvers and their knowledge of the area is deep. I would recommend using them for your next Big Bear rental need.

I don't know if this company manages or owns the property on Knight Ave. I reserved it for two days on Air Bnb. It has by far been the worst experience I've had. First all, it was not cheap; the place had broken bed frames and the cheapest linen and mattress. The linen and pillows were smelly and had blood spots. Looks like they bought all their furniture at IKEA and went for the cheapest items and furnishings possible. The rental stated "no AC needed," however, the attic where two beds were situated, was over 80 degrees, so you do need AC. Even opening the windows at night did not relieve it. There were no fans either which made for a miserable night. These people are "saavy" allright. I'd call it more underhanded. A shame pretty much. No pride in making their guest feel comfortable.

This company has no pride in ownership of their cabins. When we stayed at one of their dozens of cabins, it was dirty, run down, and unchanged compared to when they purchased it (according to pictures on Zillow). The bedroom window screens had holes in them so we were swarmed with bugs in the night. There were spill stains on the kitchen walls. There was dog hair all over the couches. The curtains in the living room barely moved open because the rod was too thick for them, so we couldn’t even enjoy the view. It was just bad. Not savvy at all. Plus, their airbnb replies to reviewers are SO rude and invalidating, it’s completely unprofessional. I wouldnt be suprised if they replied here with an attack on an honest review.

Molly & Seth are some of the best property managers in Big Bear! They are friendly, kind, helpful and take great care of their guests. I’ve worked with several different property management companies on the mountain and they are truly the best of the best. They have great properties that are all meticulously maintained. Whether you are a potential guest looking for a fabulous rental property or a homeowner looking for a stellar property manager, Savvy Bears is the way to go.
