Before renting here, be aware that if you end your lease early, you will be responsible for paying rent until the lease term ends or until a new tenant is found.

I had a disappointing - and predatory experience with this property management company after living at 1010 Elliston over a year. Despite informing them months in advance that we would be ending our lease early, communication was severely lacking. We were told we'd still be responsible for rent until a new tenant was found and assured we'd be notified immediately once that happened.

However, after paying for an entire month’s rent, I discovered someone had already moved into the apartment without any notification. This lack of transparency and professionalism led to unnecessary expenses for my family. I cannot with good faith recommend staying here.

Beware of deceitful and corrupt management. I have lived in Regal Pointe since August 2023 and have paid my rent on time and haven't had a single issue since moving in. On 5/15 a notice was posted on my door stating that we would not be allowed to renew our lease. This comes after complaining for months about a neighbor who consistently causes issues in the complex and disrupts the peace. The office staff lied and created false accusations against me and my roommate and we have been unable to talk to anyone and continue to be lied to and sent in circles. Hope, the regional manager, is also deceitful and accusatory and has not done her job a single time in managing the property or her staff. Maintenance men will harass you and continue to come to your door without being called. Security will stare you down in the parking and try to intimidate as well. It's extremely unfair and disgusting we have been treated during our time here and it's disgraceful to the company as a whole

Update: after receiving a notice that we were not allowed to renew our lease I was told that I didn’t have to receive a reason. While this is true, it is disgusting to try and put someone out of their apartment for no reason. Hope later “retracted” the fact that we couldn’t renew our lease but why would I live here? We have been treated unfairly and the behavior of the management team here is alarming.

I filled out several applications for this entity of ppl! Was approved 3x then denied! They expect ppl to be homeless and on the street! Especially if they’re not caring about your personal situation let alone having money in the bank but they want more then that!! I hate greedy people and this company shouldn’t exist! I make my own schedule get paid every week as a traveling CNA but they didn’t care! They’re racist

I would rate the place no stars but then I wouldn't be able to write a review! I moved into an apartment complex the beginning of March and Sealy Realty company never would try to show me my apartment before I moved in and then on top of that when I moved in I had a list of things that were either broken or dirty! And I sent emails, made calls, and even went over to the office to get out of the lease and never had any REAL help with any of the problems. Then they tell me that I CAN NOT get out of the lease but there was another lady wanting to move in to my apartment and that, that would be my only way out of an lease for an apartment I NEVER GOT SHOWED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! And then when the lady showed interest in the apartment they lost practically all communication with me even though I an still having to pay for an Apartment that another lady Is trying to live in. Then I get a bill for over $7,000 that they are trying to get me to pay even though the lady is currently moving into the apartment or probably even already moved into. And when I went to the office the lady I spoke with said she didn't know anything about my situation and then went to look for my file then she came back saying she supposedly couldn't find my file and then called the lady (that was working on my lease with me that didn't help me in any way) and she never got an answer from her. Then when I did get a call back about the bill the lady that called kept repeating herself over and over saying that's what the computer says and how they CAN NOT CHANGE IT!!! And never would explain to me why I owed over $7,000. Then I sent emails to try and find out more info and never could get a response back!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! This is the worst apartment renting experience I have ever had! I WILL NEVER RENT anything from this company ever again. And yes, I plan on getting a lawyer/ attorney involved if nothing is done about this issue!! Hopefully corporate reads all the bad reviews on this page and decides to do something about it! Because this is freaking RIDICULOUS!!!

UPDATE: I HAVE called the office and still no help! They act like they do NOT KNOW what the hell they are doing at this location! And still saying I owe them money when I NEVER lived in the apartment in the first place!! NEVER rent from this company because in the end they will try to screw you over!

Please do your research before renting! I understand Sealy Management Company, Inc. has many apartments in the area and this one complaint probably won’t do anything, but I am beyond fed up with their maintenance and after hours emergency “service.” The air conditioner in our apartment went out this evening. I understand it is after hours and when I called the after hours number I was told they would not send anyone out unless the outside temperature was above 80( it was 79 when I called). I missed it by 1 degree!!!! The same air conditioner that I asked to be fixed 2 months ago, and was told it only needed a filter to be replaced. Yes, we live in the south and I know ac is considered a luxury, but when I pay over $1,000 each month in rent and have done so for the past 3 years and never been late, a little customer service or common decency would be nice. My husband called back, and asked if there was anyway they could please send someone out, because our 6 month old isn’t tolerating it so well. Her response was to turn on fans and open doors and windows and allow the ac fan to recirculate. He explained that we had already done those things and had to cut the ac fan off completely because it was blowing hot air and was hotter inside than outside. I would love to leave my doors and windows open, but the day and age which we live that isn’t really a feasible option. Just please ask appropriate questions and what there “criteria” is before they will send someone out after hours!

If you ever need to handle business with Sealy Realty, make sure you email, have copies, and receipts because the office staff will try to get over you. I was mostly met with condescending and rude behavior.

Lived at Northbrook Apartments. Had a constant leak from upstairs that reoccurred every two weeks. The only thing maintenance did was put a fan on the wet carpet. Office lost my rent check and didn’t notify me at all. Waited almost two weeks til I looked at account myself. Had to get check receipt to track down my payment and they had the audacity to blame me for their carelessness and unprofessionalism. Do NOT rent from Sealy.

I never received my answer to my dispute of why they did not return my deposit. I moved in February 22 called for 3 months, sent emails for 5 months nothing. This is a horrible manager and HR department. My rent was always on time. I gave a notice and paid the extra month even though I was not living there. The issue was the carpet in which I told them and marked it on the intake sheet ( keep a copy of yours like I did) nothing. Cathey the manager Germany Davis in collections not one person sent or responded to my dispute. Its filing fees plus a day off work just to get a response. Do not waste you time on these unprofessional rent management companies. I have to go to court to o protect my credit file this is sad, and not worth the hassle. Keep looking!!!
