Kim Black is a scammer. She tried to scam us out of money before we began renting there and not surprisingly again at the end of our rental term. In the beginning she tried to make us pay a whole months rent plus the deposit but we were moving in the middle of the month and it should have been prorated. She agreed to prorate it however it speaks volumes that she knew that’s what should have been done but tried to take extra money anyway. At the end she added an extra week to our rental agreement claiming that we had given a 30 day notice that we never gave and according to that date our move out date would be 5 days past what it really was. The end date was known from the beginning of renting there and Kim could never provide evidence of the 30 day notice she claimed to have. She ended up taking money from the deposit for the extra days added. Completely and blatantly scammed us out of money. Please do not do business with her. I hope she sees this.

I have had a great experience with Kim at select. This is my second rental working with her and have had no problems, she is very responsive and nice. Probably the best property management experience in the past 25 years of renting.

Worst rental experience ever! Sandra is nothing but unprofessional and rude. If you plan on renting expect her to show up whenever she wants and wander around your property. Rarely responds to emails or text messages to the point you have to call her broker in Sacramento. Harassment and violating tenant rights. There are few positive reviews for this company

I wouldn’t leave a 1 star review for no reason. Select has proven to be extremely inconsiderate of their clientele and after a relationship of close to 3 years with them, they have essentially screwed us and bailed. I would suggest you save your time, money, and stress by not using Select Property Management. You won’t regret it.

Horrible. Sandra gave my mother a 30 day notice to fix things (spent almost 300$) then gives her a 60 day notice to vacate. Made her fix tearing wood at the top of her porch door and said her deceased dog did it (black lab). Drives by all the time and doesn't give a 24 hour notice. Hires a tree trimmer that lopped off the top of a huge bush she has in the front. Rude and hangs up on people!
