My wife and I wish we found Serena earlier! If you are looking for a home in the Bay Area, she is the absolute best. Things we loved:

- Super organized: The pre-meeting questionnaire (that she actually reads) and introductory Zoom meeting already had us wowed. Serena quickly learned what we prioritized and also pointed out things we should prioritize based on our preferences. Her emails are always clear and concise, the housing tours always carefully curated, and her thought process always logical.

- Housing tours: Serena organizes housing tours that are extremely high yield while also being efficient. With each home you see with her, she helps you learn more about what you actually want/should want. Even though my wife and I searched Redfin/Zillow listings on the apps ourselves, we trusted Serena’s judgment for the housing tours and found them incredibly valuable.

- Disclosures review: Once we found a home we loved, Serena went through THE ENTIRE disclosures packet with us to thoroughly explain her approach to reading a disclosure packet (i.e. what matters and what doesn’t matter). It was one of the most educational activities we’ve done and made us feel so much more confident in the buying process.

- Genuinely caring: There were so many examples of Serena (and her awesome husband Scotty, who is an incredible contractor!) going above and beyond to support my wife and I during the buying process. From fresh-baked cookies to introducing us to our future neighbors at her amazing annual Halloween party, she really made us feel like part of her family.

In summary, Serena is the real deal!

I can honestly say there is no way we would've been able to buy a home in the peninsula without Serena's professionalism, network, and determination. We began looking for a home during the intense real estate boom of early 2022 and closed in April. We were impressed with Serena from our very first meeting. Serena really understands the local market and is very honest and transparent when presenting homes that fit within our budget. We were looking for a home when closing prices were going for 30-40% over asking and she was very strategic when it came to leveraging pre-emptive offers. Serena spent an equal amount of time understanding our needs as buyers with a young family. She let us know about every house before it came onto the market and got us into them ahead of the open house date when possible. When we'd go see open houses on random weekends, she would make an effort to be there in person as well to walk through houses with us. The net-net is you can't go wrong with Serena if you are looking in the peninsula and I would highly recommend her to anyone else looking for a top agent.
