I can’t say enough about how good of a job Brooke from the Gillette Group, Real Brokers has done in the sale of our home. All of the Gillette Group is a top shelf organization with professionalism and genuinely caring people. We met Brooke while touring another home she was representing and knew right away that we wanted her and Gillette Group to represent us. They did an incredible video that I think showcased our property beautifully. Brooke handled all of the contractual details accurately and quickly. We were so impressed with Brooke and her team that we hired them to successfully list and sell other property that we owned. A great big “Thank You” to Brooke and Shannon!

Disingenuous and Deceitful – A Response to Gillette Group

Your response is a masterclass in deflection and dishonesty. Let's address your blatant contradictions:

"Unoccupied Home": You claim the home was unoccupied, yet someone miraculously installed the bird-scaring device. Was it a ghost? Or perhaps your "unoccupied" seller made a special trip to harass their neighbors on Christmas Day? This claim is demonstrably false, as someone clearly installed the device.
"Private Dispute": This isn't a simple disagreement between neighbors. It's about your agency knowingly enabling a client's malicious behavior. You were aware of the device's purpose – to protect his pickleball court and terrify our chickens. This goes far beyond a "private dispute"; it's your client, and by extension, your agency, engaging in harassment.
"Turned Off": While I appreciate the device is now off, this doesn't excuse your complicity. You had no problem with it terrorizing our animals and disrupting our peace until I filed a complaint. My chickens, by the way, didn't lay eggs due to the stress caused by your client's actions. The noise was so loud and persistent that it disturbed my dogs and caused them significant distress.
"Exceptional Service": Exceptional service? You call facilitating harassment and lying to homeowners "exceptional service"? Your definition of service clearly differs from any ethical standard.
Furthermore, your agent outright lied to me, claiming no one was on the property. This demonstrates a complete lack of integrity and trustworthiness.

Instead of taking responsibility, you boast about the sale price, as if financial gain justifies any behavior. It's this kind of unethical conduct that gives the real estate industry a bad name.

I will not be addressing this with the homeowner. No homeowner lives there remember? This is on YOU, for supporting and enabling this harassment. You ruined my Christmas for me and my kids and I do not take this lightly and you have nothing kind to say about it. My kids couldn't enjoy what should of been a great day because of the actions of you and your client. Just shows how LOW someone will go for financial gain. Take ownership of your client's actions and apologize please.

I am absolutely appalled by the behavior of Gillette Group's and their blatant disregard for the well-being of the community. Allowing their owner/seller to install repetitive bird-calling devices on Christmas Day, a day meant for peace and goodwill, is a new low, even for the real estate industry. What was their intention?

This isn't just about noise; it's a calculated act of harassment. Gillette Group's support of this behavior reveals a shocking lack of ethics and professionalism. Their priority seems to lie with enabling spiteful tactics rather than fostering a positive environment for all.

It's clear that Gillette Group is willing to stoop to any level to achieve their goals, even if it means sacrificing basic human decency. I urge anyone considering doing business with them to think twice. Do you really want to support a company that condones such malicious actions for nothing more than greed?

I will be reporting this incident to the appropriate authorities and spreading this awful experience about Gillette Group's reprehensible conduct.

Please see photos of the man installing the device. I should expect an apology and compensation for my Christmas being ruined by your behavior; however, I doubt you will take ownership of this.
