We bought our home in may 2024. On day of closing there was a water issue in the basement that the sellers are under contract to fix. It was supposed to be finished by July, it’s currently Feb 2025 and the room is still not finished. The listing agent Chris Phillips was supposed to have a painter out in November and IM STILL WAITING. He just now ignores my messages and I’m forced to get my attorney involved. This agency is a joke.

EDIT: I was Zelled $200 for paint after I left my review and contacted my attorney. But the fact of the matter is the issue was under contract to be fixed in July of 2024. Whatever excuse, delay, issue was not my responsibility. I should not of had to fight, leave a bad review, and contact my attorney in the first place to get WHAT WAS UNDER CONTRACT TO BE FIXED UPON CLOSING ON THE HOME, fixed 6 MONTHS OUTSIDE OF MY CONTRACT DEADLINE. You can remove my review if you want, and I’ll still rate this agency 1 star 🤷🏼‍♀️

We had Nichole as our realtor and she was great to work with. She always worked with our schedules. She had very timely responses. She worked a high level of motivation and enthusiasm throughout the entire process and answered all of our questions. Nichole always worked hard to get us into showings and helped walk us through the offer process. She never showed frustration with any of our millions of questions.
When we actually had to go into the office, it was clean, the employee working the front was always pleasant and helpful, and any of Shorewest's partners we worked with were also easy to work with.

Horrible experience with Delavan WI location. Please if you can find another agency to help you DO IT! Tara, Christine and the office manager all will lie to stick together rather than to do what is right. All 3 need to take a class of basic customer service! If you have an issue with one person do not bother to reach out to anyone else at that location. Rude, disrespectful and super unprofessional. Make sure anything they say is either in writing or recorded!!
