I've lived here for a few years, and I haven't had any trouble. Even though the staff has changed a few times, everyone is always nice. If anything needs to be fixed, it always gets done. This place is charming, and my kids love that we can even go for a swim in the middle of winter.

Ok I've been here a month so now I can finally drop a review after giving this place a fair shake. Tl:dr false advertising, understaffing and severely minimal construction for quality of life purposes.

Let's start with the good. Madie the manager was exceptionally courteous and even went out of her way to help me get keys on what should've been her day off. Big kudos there for the extra mile. The maintenance is also polite and will wear shoe covers on request. The pool and sauna are also very nice and accessible. This ends the good part.

For 15 of the 30 days I've lived here, my dryer hasn't worked. This wasn't one occurence but twice over time. The amenities here are minimal cost with minimal effort to fix due to understaffed maintenance. If you do not have an emergency expect to get backlogged.

Even worse are the buildings and layouts inside. The room layouts are dull. The window blinds provided snap under any duress at all (byebye deposit) and worst of all is the blatant misrepresentation of the "townhouse" units marketed on the upper plateau of the property. For one thing, they are apartments not townhouses regardless of whatever legalese the owners might spew. This will be made crystal clear when your upstairs neighbors are just a quiet couple with one excited dog but your room shakes like there's an earthquake every time the animal gets excited. It's scary when you aren't expecting it because of the far too thin ceiling/floors.

Edit: Ammending to 3 stars as faulty equipment has been replaced and problems maintenance has addressed.

We're going to the Diplomat next year. Hopefully we'll be more comfortable. Maybe there I won't have to live in literal squalor from being made to wear my own dirty clothes. In the meantime, we're roughing it with the poor staff who the owners clearly abandoned to fend for themselves.

My husband and I were looking to rent an apartment we met with one of the office ladies (can’t remember the name, had blonde hair) and she showed us the apartment that we would be renting. We were excited and it seemed like what was going to be an easy transition. They need a cashiers check to hold the apartment asked if Monday worked since our bank was closed on a Saturday and hat was fine. My husband came back in that Monday to hold the apartment. The lady we were working with wasn’t available so he was working with the other office lady. She told him that the apartment we were getting has already been rented out. Didn’t make any sense because we were just there viewing it. They wanted us to rent a top floor for more money.
We left jumped on to read reviews.. makes sense. Hopefully before anyone decides to rent read every single review.

Went in there was greeted with happy faces and very understanding people Even when I expressed recently divorced and credit score was a disastrous they explain that they hardly ever deny and with a low credit score they would just ask for a higher security deposit 5 minutes after I applied even though I didn't have the money into apply they denied me I tried to call the office management avoided my phone calls and would not call me back spent hours crying after I thought they were my last option or I will not have a roof over my head very disappointing to see such understanding individuals greeting mean with smiles but then felt like I had the plague they avoided me like it. I never expected management to treat me like that very disappointing I was looking forward to moving in.

ITS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE.
The worst place you could possibly choose to live!! The maintenance is awful, it is not worth it. From day 1 we had so many issues!! We notified them that first week of issues we found. They failed so many times to fulfill them. The floor was caving in which is insanely dangerous and all the maintenance guy had to say was to not have elephants step on it. The girls in the office were very rude when you tried talking to them. And their email suspiciously does not work so you have no way to get anything in writing. They are shady!! The maintenance also came by at least 5/6 times to “fix” our water and could never figure it out and then “forgot” to turn our water back on before they left. Also the place specifically says “smoke free” but everyone including maintenance smokes and the place constantly stinks!! I’m okay with people who smoke but we specifically wanted a place away from it for health reasons. Also after we brought things up we went to lock our door one day and suddenly we couldn’t lock it anymore. Very very suspicious. This is the worst management I’ve ever seen. Unless you want things always broken or falling apart, don’t move here!! It’s awful.

I wish I could give them a zero right now. There has been a fire alarm going off for hours and hours every night (early morning) for 5 days! It is a constant beeping noise which is driving me insane!!!! I have called, emailed and complained and when I asked for a discount on rent, or reimbursement if I go to a hotel, the property manager told me that was not going to happen because WA state law gives them 10 days to fix an issue and then hung up on me. If she had a continuous beeping in her place of residence, I'm sure it would be taken care of immediately.

Lived here for 5 years. Literally just dropped off my keys. This summer some unfortunate events happened medically and they were very accommodating and considerate to my circumstances. They let me out of my lease amicably and reached out numerous times to make sure everything was okay.

Never had a problem with work orders. During the 5 years they replaced my washer and dryer 2 or 3 times. They gave me a brand new dishwasher even when I didnt really NEED it. It was just old and the maintenance said "let's just get you a brand new one".

Had some problems with mold and water leaks stemming from other apartment units and maintenance always came to fix the issue. Sometimes it took a bit long but honestly that was on me because I am rather laid back and never pressed the issue. Any time I was adamant about something they were there and fixing the issue within 24 hours.

Mostly just thankful for their kindness and compassion. It's a business first understandably but I truly feel like they went to bat for me as much as they possibly could on their end and tremendously helped me out.

The community itself is pretty nice, good location, good trails nearby and a park for dog's. Playground for kids, pool and spa plus sauna. The deck outside of the office has a lot of chairs and tables and a stainless steel BBQ for nice Summer day get-togethers with friends or family.

I never really heard noise from other units unless the power was out or I had everything electronic turned off. I lived on the bottom unit and the most I ever heard was walking upstairs. Maybe I got lucky and just had very quiet neighbors but no complaints.

If you have children the bus stop is literally right in front of the complex. Very convenient. No breed restrictions for dogs. I never had a pet but I know this is a big deal for dog owners.

Thanks to Kim and Nadia and the rest of the staff for being awesome and helpful.

I'd live here again and would have probably continued to stay here year after year if things didn't happen in my personal life to make that virtually impossible.

So all that said, hope this review helps someone. I know I focused mostly on the human component of the community but to me that's the most important part of any living situation at an apartment complex.
