They prioritize communication and concerns when it really matters. Worst experience ever and all I did was go to view a place to stay in when he arrived. He was late then began to tell me he doesn’t have a lot of time he has somewhere else to be didn’t show me around just stood there and talked to me as if I wasn’t able to even afford the place I was looking at, also let me know it will be first months rent plus and a half just to stay there which is ridiculous so that’s a little under two grand even talk to me as if my credit score wasn’t up to par and again this is just me trying to look for a place to stay. I was raised to treat the janitor the same way you would treat the president this was the worst experience ever. Some caucasian Man with gray hair was the one who was there as I Helped myself as far as looking around

SLT management did a great job in marketing my property and matching it with just the right tenant. Their thoroughness and professionalism made for a great experience for both me and my tenants. I highly recommend SLT services to deliver what they do best. The preceding was valid in early 2018.

Fast forward to Fall 2018 when I engaged their services to actually manage a portion of my real estate portfolio. As I came on board as a client I noticed there had been a change in personnel from early that year - but no issue as the main agent on site seemed to be knowledgable, professional, capable and client focused. I was very pleased with staff performance for the first six months, then changes began - that agent left. Though office staff was very small, over the next three years turnover was quite high each time resulting in an entirely experienced staff. Throughout staff was always courteous, however this did not compensate for delayed responses, inaccurate information, account statements which the staff could to explain, incorrect remittances, inquires about properties that were not mine, staff not following SLT internal procedures - this was pervasive (I was constantly told meetings were being held to inform staff of procedures....). Quite disturbing was their lack of following standard property management industry procedures, which cost me dearly in a Summary Ejectment action that was dismissed, it was managed by another inexperienced and ill prepared staffer who left shortly thereafter. So many issues in such a short span of time without true accountability was unacceptable. That level of service was not what any client should expect. Granted property management is never perfect, however my experience with SLT was so far off the mark of standard operations that it would be a disservice not to share my experience. I am only sharing SOME shortfalls and retain documentation of all the challenges encountered. A little over a year ago, I subsequently moved my portfolio elsewhere to experience a true fiduciary relationship which allowed for further portfolio growth and development. No regrets with that move.

Unexpected PLEASURE!!! I initially hired SLT as a property management company. To my astonishment, Dennis told me that he could sell my property for me. Very disappointed and disheartened from previous unsuccessful attempts. I said: " I will give it one more try and allow SLT to sale my home", AND THEY DID JUST THAT! AND I AM SO SO SO GREATFULL!!! After 2 other attempts to sale my home SLT SOLD IT QUICKLY! AND EFFORTLESSLY!!! The entire staff was always professional and willing to help at any time for any task!!! FOREVER GRATEFUL!

Maria treated us rudely and disrespectfully. Has not responded to a single email or text message and has yet to provide us with keys, codes or full access to our $1500.00 per month rental property. Our insurance agent that set us up in the property has also been treated rudely and ignored by SLT Properties. Don't rent through SLT Properties! Once your check clears you no longer matter to these"Professionals". I recommend Marathon properties in Greensboro for professional and courteous service.
As for your response, blaming the tenants for not doing enough to get the service and attention they deserve seems to be a common tactic in your complaint responses, going back for years. And the fact that our numerous phone calls, emails and text messages have been completely ignored for weeks, yet you replied so quickly to my negative review only proves my point, and shows exactly where your priorities lie.
Does SLT Properties receive(and ignore) so many complaints that you can't keep track of who's reporting them? Based on the numerous other reviews I have read going back over 4 years, SLT Properties, and specifically Maria have a long history of rude, unresponsive and unprofessional business practices, all quite similar to my review. Yet the problem still persists years later, while SLT Properties Management still feigns ignorance to the origins of said complaints to avoid culpability. If SLT Properties truly cared about their tenants issues more than their reputation they would have remedied our issues weeks ago and avoided yet another negative review of the same old problems.
And I hope that the homeowners that are entrusting SLT Properties with managing their investment homes are reading these reviews so they can be informed as to how poorly their tenants are being treated behind the scenes.

I've been very pleased with the service I have recieved. I'm always kept up on the statue of my property. They work with me so that I can take of any possible issues that might come up with maintenance on
my property. This saves me money and sometimes time. They have been a tremendous asset
with management and all the aspects of my rentals.
