My wife and I visited Big Bear for my birthday together with two of my sisters and in-laws. The area had been struck by a heavy snow storm the week before and snow was still piled up everywhere. The cabin we rented was excellent, well equipped and maintained. Its location could not be any better as you are just there next to the lifts. Skiing in Big Bear is fantastic.

Busy! Clean, well organized and they have a great training for snowboarding classes. The tubing is really easy to access as well.

Best practice is to buy your tickets before you go and prepaid parking on busy weekends.

Need another lodge to relax and eat and drink, not enough room or chairs for large crowds to warm up and relax.

Awesome place to ski. It is very spacious and big. There is also music and quick shops for like coffee or hot cocoa. I love it here. Definitely had an great time with my family. I would recommend for everyone to come. Pot skiers or those who are just learning.

We stayed here through an Airbnb. It's walking distance to Snow Summit Mountain which is great. We could walk home for lunch which we preferred over eating outside in the cold. Indoor dining is closed at this time. The only negative is at night you can hear the snowmakers and the snow plows grooming the mountain. It can make it hard to sleep if you are sensitive to sounds.

Had a really good time here. Me and my wife just went tubing but still a great experience. From the staff in the store to the staff working the hill, everyone was cheerful and gave a good experience. I would definitely come back again and recommend others to come here. For tubing it's about 1.5 he time block you pay for. They do military discount for skiing and snowboarding too.

Amazing place!! Friendly and helpful staff who love skiing and snowboarding themselves, so they take the time to help you a lot!

Good equipment too, never felt uncomfortable or unsafe with my gear or their lifts. As my first time skiing, I will forever remember this spot for the rest of my life.
11/10 would recommend!
