AMAZING BUYING EXPERIENCE!

This was our first big purchase and we knew nothing about the in’s and out’s on purchasing a home. After a few consults with Soundbuilt, knowing our wants and needs, they quickly found us our dream home where we’ll be raising our babies. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, making it an ideal place for families. We’re also thrilled with the excellent schools nearby and the convenience of grocery stores and great restaurants just a short drive away. I can’t thank Loretta and Jackie enough for their help and open communication throughout the entire process.

These are a couple of top tier ladies and I will definitely be recommending to anyone I know buying or selling a home.

We recently purchased a home from Soundbuilt Homes in a fantastic neighborhood, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the exceptional quality of the construction. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, showcasing Soundbuilt's commitment to excellence.
One of the standout features is the floor plan, which is perfect for multigenerational living—a rarity to find in affordable housing these days. The layout provides both privacy and communal spaces, making it ideal for families looking to accommodate different generations comfortably.
The high-quality materials used throughout the home truly set it apart, providing a sense of luxury that we appreciate every day.
Beyond the home itself, the neighborhood is a major highlight. It's a vibrant community with friendly neighbors, excellent amenities, and a strong sense of safety. We're excited to explore local parks and community events, which make this area feel even more like home.
Overall, we feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to live. With Soundbuilt Homes as our builder, an amazing neighborhood, and a multigen-friendly floor plan, our home purchase has exceeded our expectations in every way! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality home at a great price! Their standards are other builders upgrades.

I’d like to comment on our experience with Jackie and Loretta, the two real estate agents who work with Soundbuilt Homes in Tahoma Terra. .

We started the process working with Jackie, and decided fairly quickly to purchase. We had no idea how to sell our old house in another state. Jackie found us a local realtor who helped us make repairs and get our home sold quickly.

Jackie also introduced me to the builder’s preferred lender, and we were able to get a really good deal with financing.

After selling our house, we moved temporarily to an apartment nearby, and both Jackie and Loretta kept us posted about the progress on our home, sending us video tours, and letting us know what progress was being made each step of the way. The two of them worked seamlessly together, and we always felt we could contact them with any questions or concerns.

We’ve been in our new home for six months now, and couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend both Jackie and Loretta.

We couldn’t be happier with our Soundbuilt home at Nisqually Place. We bought at dirt and were able to make all finish/upgrade decisions ourselves. Constructions schedule stuck to the timeline and communication was excellent throughout the process. Brenna and Marilyn were responsive to our many questions (our first time building a new home and we needed some hand holding). We received weekly updates with progress photos.

We are very satisfied with the quality of construction and have had minimal issues after completion. All were addressed quickly by the Soundbuilt team. Our home inspector noted the care and quality of construction in his report. All items from our punch list walk through were completed without pushback. The warranty video each buyer is required to watch feels daunting at first, but provides a ton of great information. Well worth the time.

Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. Ours was not a custom home, but the team was flexible with design/upgrade/change requests if early in the process.

We love our new home and community.

Please DO NOT buy house from this builder unless you want to lose your temper everyday dealing with them.

We purchased a NEW CONSTRUCTION from them in January 2021 and moved in in March 2021. We were not happy since day 1 we moved in dealing with the worst people in the management team of Soundbuilt.

First thing first, before we moved in, there was an orientation day which buyers would usually blue tape the issues in the house for the builder to fix. That was the ONLY beginning of the nightmare. The orientation is only limited to 2 hours, and the guy spent the first 30 minutes or so to talk with us about what we are going to do that day. After the talk, I thought we can start taping, but guess what, we were NOT ALLOWED to tape ourselves. We needed to tell that guy where to tape. FINE. But he was CONSTANTLY on his phone said he was texting his team, and he just said "oh we don't fix this," "it's normal," "it is what it is" for majority of the area we pointed out. Therefore, majority of our blue tapes was just paint touch-up. Since he was CONSTANTLY on his phone "communicating" with his team, we were constantly waiting him to get off his phone and tape for us. He also rushed us because the orientation is only for 2 hours. Excuse me? You spent half hour on telling us what we would do that day and spent majority of your time on your phone and not taping for us, and now you wanted to rush us? Is that the customer service you aim for and train your people to be that unprofessional?

After that orientation day, I know we definitely missed a lot because we were rushed and the guy said they won't fix majority of the areas we pointed out. FINE. On the day we finally got the key, we saw scratches on the glasses on the door. We contacted the management team, the person in charge, Stephanie C, said they will not fix it because the house is closed already. WE WERE NOT MOVED IN YET.

On the same day we got the key, before we even walked into the house, we found there were scratches on the front door. We contacted Stephanie C, and she said they won't fix it because the house is closed. FINE. We were then cleaning the house and found out that one of the kitchen cabinets was installed upside down for one side, which made the cabinet not level and not even usable. We contacted Soundbuilt again, not surprised but surprised, Stephanie C said they can only do repair because the house is closed. WE SPENT THAT MUCH MONEY TO GET A NEW CONSTRUCTION IS NOT TO USE REPAIRED STUFF.

We understand how hot the housing market is now, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM SOUNDBUILT. We guarantee you and your family would regret this decision until the day you get to move to another house.

We love our new Soundbuilt Home! Soundbuilt was one of the few builders in our area that not only gave us several floor plans to choose from, but also allowed us to customize the design of our home. Marilyn Winters and Brenna Smith are heaven sent, and made themselves readily available to address all our questions and concerns throughout the purchasing process. They are also just great to chat with. Seriously consider purchasing from this builder, you won’t regret it.
