After some poor and costly experiences with my previous property manager, it has been such a weight off my mind to work with Marcus and South Bay Home Rental. From the initial contact, Marcus was extremely responsive, always answering calls and emails quickly (even with a serious time difference when I'm out of California). He found potentially dangerous issues with my rental property that others did not, and took quick but well-thought-out action for repairs. My many questions were all answered with patience, respect, and good humor. The photos and description he did for my house's listing were top notch. Now that we have tenants again, monthly reporting is timely and easy to understand. My sincere thanks to Marcus and his team!

I would not recommend South Bay Home Rental, I had they do a background check for a property which they said was “completely” although they did a background check on somebody that wasn’t me because their background check is “generalized” while other companies I worked with did a more thorough background check and actually found my correct info. When I called to ask for a refund off the application fee they said a refund was not required although they clearly didn’t do what they were paid for which was to run a background check on the correct person! Anyways, there are many options in the area for home rentals so make sure you do your homework for the best ones! Not one with 3 reviews which were probably done by employees anyway. Take care!

I needed a property management company immediately and my parents recommended Marcus Teixeira. Marcus helped some family friends with their real estate needs so I decided to give him a ring. Right off the bat I told him where I was in my pursuit of renting out one of my units and he was on it. Long story short, he got me great tenants and passive income.

He is someone I can trust to pick up a phone call, reply to a text, and most importantly rely on. I'll be recommending him the next time someone asks me "Do you know a property manager?"
