Pros: I've lived here for a little over a year and I’ve had the best experience. I have enjoyed the sense of community, and the diversity among residents. Everyone is kind and welcoming, and most people have dogs, which is another plus. I love the convenience of living downtown because we can walk to events and the ferry vs having to find parking. Management and maintenance are also great. Anytime I’ve had a question or put in a maintenance request (minor things), it was always solved promptly. The only reason I’ll be moving when my lease is up is because I started a new job in Tacoma and the commute home is LONG due to traffic. If you do commute, be prepared to sit in traffic if you get on the highway after 2:30 pm…..My stay here at Spyglass has been so peaceful, and the views are amazing.

Tip: Always get a top floor apartment so you don’t have to worry about the footsteps above you.

Cons: There are dogs that live in the house to the right of the apartment complex on Washington Avenue, and the house behind the apartment complex on highland avenue. It seems like they wake up at the crack of dawn barking and howling, and it continues throughout the day. I don’t fault Spyglass because there’s nothing they can do about that. Get you a good white noise machine to use while you’re sleeping and you’ll be good to go. Also, there's no central a/c so you have to buy a portable a/c, but that will be the case with most of the apartments and homes in Washington state.

This is the best place I’ve ever lived as far as apartments go. Maintenance is friendly, fast and efficient. The building manager is extremely professional and communicative. It is always clean and welcoming while also feeling safe and secure. I’ve been here for two years and never had any issues with pests of any kind. The community is quiet, calm and respectful of one another. Absolutely recommend. 💯

Its a castle on a hill, a safe place to observe the wonderful views of Washington. You can see all kinds of gorgeous colors in the sky. From your bed, or desk. Walk to base, a skip to the ferry. Wonderful staff Superior maintenance.

I have been living in this apartment for a few months now and have enjoyed the apartment immensely. The view of the Puget Sound is amazing and management are extremely friendly and helpful. There are also monthly events the building provides for tenants to meet and greet with other residents. The only complaint I have is that in the summer the rooms do get warm, and with no A.C., can become uncomfortable during the day. With that said this apartment is still a great place to live.

The management team here is amazing! They are all very helpful and friendly. The views in these units is breathtaking and so convenient to the ferry as well as the restaurants in Bremerton. I really love the rooftop, its a great place to unwind after a long day.

I have lived here for the past six months and love it! Are there things that could be better? Sure. Things like more ample parking space and more soundproof walls between top/bottom floors. But that's it.

There is a huge grass area for dogs to do their business and free poo-mitts for residents on property. Since I have been here there has not been more than one incident of crime and I am not sure if that person even lived here. Everything is very energy efficient and most people keep to themselves and are quiet day/night.

The leasing office is not open in-person, but I moved cross-country and Nakata was able to help us COMPLETELY by e-mail and was very responsive, honest, kind and timely. I thought coming here sight unseen was going to be a nightmare but I don't want to leave.

It only takes 10 mins to get to ferry terminal and to local eateries and about 15 mins to grocery areas.

I love living here! The views are amazing and the proximity to the ferry is within walking distance! I wish this place had more amenities, but other than that, I cannot say better things about it.

Amazing management team. Super kind! The location is very convenient to everywhere. I have to travel back and forth between Bremerton and Seattle almost everyday and it worked out for me pretty well. If you are looking for amazing view, good managemnet and convenient location. This is it.
