Lived in this building for 2 years. Raghu was very responsive to any issues (although issues were seldom and never serious or emergencies). He is professional and very cooperative and I never felt like I was being nickel and dimed unlike these bigger corporate apartment buildings. Building is quiet, no issues with other residents, good location. I lived alone and felt very safe.

I have been at one of the apartment complexes under Square One Management for over a decade and I have really enjoyed being there due to the great communication and responsiveness I experienced with the property manager, Mary whenever I had maintenance requests or just had questions in general. She was understanding and flexible and did her best to problem-solve for her tenants. I've been renting in Berkeley with Square One this year, and they've been nothing short of helpful throughout the process. From the open house to signing the lease to maintenance to ending the lease, Van in particular was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure I got the help I needed! We've been renting from Square One Management for 3 years now and they are ALWAYS on top of anything that needs repairing. Even when I have a concern that's not correct, they always send someone out to check out the issue. The repair staff always go above and beyond. Recently, we had a gate break and they repaired it within 2 days of the request. When we had a fuse blow, they fixed it the same day. Very happy with their service and professionalism.
