Wow, what an amazing place to enjoy nature! The cabins are awesomely rustic, but have modern amenities. Inside there is a full kitchen, bathrooms, a/c... Outside there are manicured trees, lawn, gazebo, and horseshoes! Across the street is Bigfoot Rafting with a rad riverside beach we had access to as well. Cute lil river town with a breakfast spot, store and night spot. Not to mention the helpful and professional staff!! Thank you Bri, Emily, Jo, Matt and everyone else that made our stay memorable....in a good way 🙂 Can't wait to go again!

We are a family who rented several cabins in connection with a raft trip with Bigfoot rafting. The cabins are basic but fine, with a very comfortable bed and adequate room overall. The kitchen equipment is not high end but it was fine for BBQ and making dinner. The riverfront portion of the property (across the street) is fabulous. Great lawn area and nice landscaping, small but very nice private river beach. Rafting company staff were terrific. Everyone was conscientious about the pandemic - related social distancing.

This place is as awesome as it gets. The owners Brianna & Matt are super nice. They will go out of there way to help you in any way they can. The cottages, RV spots, & the grounds are beautiful. Wanna get on the river? Make Big Foot Rafting part of the experience, it's just right there & it is very convenient. The guides are super knowledgeable & Friendly! Their Trips Are Top Notch. Gotta Try Them Out.... As far as both are concerned, I don't think I have ever met a nicer group of people in my life.

Good place out of the sun. The ac didn't seem to cool down the cabin very well during the day but it was better than being out in the heat. Beds were decently comfortable. The shower did make a lot of creaking sounds which made me a little worried but could have been because these cabins are a bit old. Very pretty landscaping though which I did like they also have horse shoes. All in all a good experience.

We had pleasant visit. We stayed in Fir Cabin, a small-sized country-styled cottage. While sleeping was suitable for our family of five, the sitting area is snug. However, there is a full-sized stove & oven, a microwave, and full-sized refrigerator. And river access is just across the 299.

We had a big family reunion/wedding in California and the whole family came up and stayed in several of the cabins. They were cute and rustic, very clean and comfortable with plenty of beds and a small kitchen to prepare your own meals in. The air conditioners in these units kept them nice and cold when it was sweltering heat outside. Each cabin has a nice little deck porch with its own little grill if you'd like to bbq. There was also a very nicely maintained courtyard with a gazebo, table and chairs for relaxing. Matt and Bri (the owners) were incredibly sweet and accommodating and even took the whole family on an amazing rafting trip with their other business Bigfoot Rafting, which is located right across the street. I would highly recommend anyone to come stay in the cabins and while you're there, take a rafting trip. You won't regret it!

I planned a getaway for some R&R, and finding these cottages was a BIG plus-comfy mattress, clean, peaceful surroundings with riverfront access. Briana was easy to work with and accommodated my late arrival. As well, she greeted me at 11:00 PM and had a fan on to cool down my room. She is delightful, and I immediately felt at home.

My husband I stayed in the Maple cabin. It was a nice ,clean little cabin. We will definitely be returning to stay again. It was nice to have a kitchen and BBQ to use.||Great for rafters on the Trinity River! Absolutely stunning area!
