From start to finish, the process was smooth and enjoyable – picking out the layout, choosing the finishes, and getting everything just right. The house in the Thistle Hill development in Hinesburg, Vermont, I live in is poorly constructed of the cheapest possible materials and is vastly over-priced. You might wonder why anyone would buy an over-priced, low-quality house. No one would if they knew what they were getting into. Sterling Construction repeatedly lied to my face about what they were doing and refused to fix properly mistakes their inferior, amateurish subcontractors made. The ridiculous errors are far too numerous to mention and include absurd blunders in even the most basic construction (for example: an astonishing inability to use a level or a square). Avoid this horrible company like the plague.
