EDIT FOR SUHRCO: I've spoken to the person in charge of this property about these issues several times, and all they ALWAYS say is "it isn't my problem, or responsibility." As a resident it is not my responsibility to educate you, or other SUHRCO employees on what the word "management" means.

This is how the property I live at looks under SUHRCO's "management." Day pictures are from August 2024. Night pictures are from Jan 2025. This is what all the extra rent money goes to I guess.

I've been living in a SUHRCO managed property since end of 2021 and been on the HOA board since 2022. Alison and Carrie have been great to work with. They are prompt, professional, and honest. I can count on them to request bids, send out repair personnel, and answer questions. Alison runs all our HOA meetings and she is so knowledgeable, patient, and keeps our meetings on track and productive.

I rent a commercial space for my business in Everett and this has been the absolute worst property management company to rent from. My manager is Patrick and he hardly ever will pick up, return phone calls or emails.

My space has flooded at least 12 times, one taking over 6 months to be repaired and then when they finally got repaired the contractor did a terrible job. We were give no rent forgiveness or anything to compensate for this reoccurring issue not even an apology for the huge inconvenience. They just said to contact our insurance to file a claim when not a single incident was from us or in our suite.

It’s never been an issue from us or anyone else’s suite either it’s all bad building plumbing and HVAC issues. We had to keep calling over and over to follow up about the repairs. I’m sure we probably have mold underneath our floors at this point.

I do want to give a shoutout to our maintenance guy. He always stops what he’s doing to come help every single time this happens.

Maybe other property managers in this company are better and advocate for their tenants but mine definitely does not. So in the very least find other tenants and see if they have had a good experience before signing a lease.

I would just like to say how grateful we were to have Marie as our property manager at Nicholas Court Townhomes for the last few years. After living in the apartments for five years we have moved on. Marie has always advocated for her tenants, always gets back to you very soon, always trys to help in any way she can. She's very understanding of real life situations and always tries to come up with solutions to help. We will miss her and her husband very much as he is very nice and helps around the apartments as well, shoveling snow in the winter, and a great handyman.

Mari deserves more ratings on here. I'm surprised she has none! She's more than attentive to the residents at Nicholas Court. She's also empathetic to us as tenants, especially when dealing with situations that impact our quality of life here. She answers us quickly, she finds solutions when needed, and goes above and beyond. Doing things like getting parking cones for parking spots that people keep taking. Or her husband always salting the pathways for us before any of us even realize it's snowed yet.
She's a great manager and deserves more recognition.

Rented an apartment from one of their properties in Bellingham WA for upwards of 6 years and over time I watched them care less and less. I had two microwaves break that took nearly 2 months and harassing the office to replace, and now that I have moved out I have sent a dozen emails about not receiving my deposit refund check that was promised nearly a month ago.
Absolutely abhorrent communication to current and former tentants.

When I first moved into my condo managed by SUHRCO, my experience was terrible. Since Alison and Carie have been on board it has been a 180. They are responsive and proactive. The complex already looks much better and more is coming. They also listen and respond quickly.

Flat Roof Pros, Inc. is a vendor for SUHRCO and we’ve got nothing but the compliments for them on both residential and commercial sides. They manage their properties with highest level of professionalism and integrity. Lori & Brian are simply outstanding. Highly recommend SUHRCO property management for anyone considering their services.
