My family and I rented a cabin on Airbnb through Summit and we had a wonderful experience. Holly and her team went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Following our trip, I left my wedding ring at the property and Holly went out of her way to find the ring and mail it to my home. I could not be more grateful to her and her team. Summit Real Estate is the only way to go! I haven’t purchased up here in Beautiful Big Bear yet, however we have done all the Air BNB, Big Bear Cool Cabins, Destination Big Bear, and a few other companies, and I can tell you this… none of them even compare to the professionalism, communication, sense of urgency, compassion, and all around just awesomeness!!! We’ve stayed at tons of different cabins over the passed few years ranging from $300-$1500/ night and this was our favorite cabin by far. All their options looked amazing. On other platforms I’ve noticed some sketchy minimal photos/ information but on Summit Real Estate everything had a ton of photos and information on exactly what the amenities and all options you would be getting. The price and fees were beyond fair especially for what you are getting!!! Holly is the best hands down she is the sweetest most compassionate host I have ever met. We legit got snowed in and her and her team pulled some strings to help us stay another night and avoid a second cleaning fee! Our cabin “The Serenity Modern” was 12 minutes from Bear Mountain Resort but amazing! It was so quiet and private on 2.5 acres! I’m going to upload a few photos of the Kids sledding and having a blast. Thank you Summit Real Estate and Holly once again. We are so grateful for your hospitality!!!

I booked with Holly through Airbnb. I read reviews on here and was definitely nervous, but I think that more people share bad reviews than good ones and I wanted to share a good one. Our cabin was not ready at check - in, but Holly was really kind and sweet about helping us out and making it up to us. Things happen. We’re all human. It was hard to get us an ETA which was initially a little hard, but we just waited and killed time and then we got to check in. Everything was great and as described. No issues and the cabin was clean and great. Holly was nice enough to check in again after. I forgot to take many pics but we stared in the Little Moon Cabin in sugarloaf 🙂

Holly C. cancelled my reservation for Christmas because she wanted to charge a higher price for the cabin I booked. How is that ethical? It’s as if I go into a store, purchase a product, finalize the sale THEN the business owner confiscates the product and give me a refund because they decided they sold me the product for too low a price. Horrible, unethical behavior!! She claims it was a software issue that allowed me to book the reservation but when I reached out to Airbnb they told me that no such software issue existed and that it had been the host’s mistake to list cabin for the Christmas dates. When I told Holly that what she was doing was not fair, her tone/attitude was disgusting. I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest that anyone who wants to book a place in Big Bear with Summit Real Estate…take their business elsewhere. A few minutes scrolling the reviews for this business will tell you everything you need to know about Holly, her disgusting character and her failing business. Check google reviews and Yelp if you don’t believe me. She consistently claims that EVERYONE who has left negative reviews was being unreasonable and entitled. When one customer complains, they are likely the issue. But, when NUMEROUS customers complain, it’s proof that Holly is in fact the problem. Holly, I suggest you change career if this job makes you so unhappy. You telling guests that they’re entitled and that they’re coming into your “small mountain community” and acting entitled and looking for handouts is such a bigoted generalization. Don’t ever forget that these LA residents which you are so condescending and rude to are the backbone of your business. You should address them with the respect they deserve because at the end of the day, they are your livelihood.

I stayed for a little over a month at one of their AirBnbs. Holy, the host, was rude and very slow to respond. The place was very dirty and dusty, and when we asked to have it cleaned, she accused me of lying. After I provided proof photos, she just stopped replying.

The place didn't have trash bin, and when I asked her what to do with the trash, she replied to dump it into the city dumpsters, which are about a 20-minute drive from the cabin. In contrast, all the neighboring houses had their trash bins.

Overall, the cabin was nice but dirty, and the rude host made it worse. I wouldn't recommend Holy to anyone, neither guests nor hosts.

My family and I stayed at this cabin to get away and mourn the death of my brother’s wife. Holly really went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and taken care of. If ever I had a question in the month that we stayed at the cabin, she quickly answered with helpful information. One time we arrived back at the cabin from Los Angeles (roughly 3hrs away) only to find that we did NOT have the key to get inside. Holly replied within 3 minutes and told us we could pick up an extra key from the office (which thankfully was still open at that time). What could have been a really big mess, was something we were able to quickly laugh about. I’m so grateful for the love and compassion Holly was able to give us, even when she was not aware of our situation being a time when it was really needed. It definitely makes me want to pay it forward. I would highly recommend this location for its beauty and peaceful atmosphere. It was perfect for us. It is beautiful, clean and had EVERYTHING we needed.

Holly was amazing to deal with and very accommodating. Getting the keys was simple and easy, it was located next door to a pizza place so we ate and picked up the keys. The stay was comfortable and everything was as we expected it to be. Holly was very professional and available immediately through text as we needed her. Great stay for our family!

Holly and her crew at Summit Real Estate were so helpful and made our stay in Big Bear effortless! The cabin was extremely nice and very close to the local slopes. Check in was so easy and everything you needed to know was sent via E-mail. I would highly recommend Summit Real Estate to everyone I know. Thank you Holly for everything!
