I wouldn't say this place is horrible, but it's definitely not the best hence the reason I'm giving it 2 stars. Maintenance guys are cool but there's a lot more that could be done in terms of keeping the public balconies, laundry room and walkways a little more clean. Time after time I have to clean the balcony in font of my door due to neighbors trash juice and dog hair all over the place.

This place has Zero amenities but year after year the rent raises anywhere from $150-$200. We've been here for 5 years and haven't been able to catch a break with raises. It has risen every year since we've lived here.

You'll hear dogs barking all day and night.

Kids playing right outside your window and yelling on top of their voices.

On occasions you'll have to call the tow truck due to random people parking in your space.

Music bumping in cars with dudes hanging outside way into am.

I can't say too much about manager because I've never met the lady since she took over but all maintenance were taken care of in a timely manner. She randomly sends out what seems to be low key threatening emails every once in awhile but it's never aimed towards anything we're doing in my apartment so it doesn't matter to me

If you're thinking about moving here just keep looking a little harder because you can get way better for $2-300 bucks more and maybe the owners won't be so money hungry to hike the rent on you every single year.

4 Stars because not all 5 star reviews are real. This place has become a very pleasant place to live. Current on-site manager is the most attentive manager I have ever encountered. Thank you Maria! These apartments were neglected by several on-site managers for years (as you can see in the extremely negative reviews from previous tenants). My family and I have been here for 5 years and this past year under current management has been excellent. Again, Thank you Maria! Any maintenance concerns I had were handled quickly, and that makes you feel well taken care of as a tenant. I like the layout of the 2 bed 2 bath. One bummer is the limited parking situation. Street parking means an uphill hike and then several stairs. But that being said, it is also a benefit. These apartments are uphill and tucked away from traffic, making for a peaceful place to live.

I know that these apartments have not been given the best reviews...but truly it is much better than before. I lived there for a year and the on-site manager, Maria was a sweet, kind, professional, and proactive force. Whenever I had an issue, I could call the front office and arrangements would be made to resolve the issues. When leaving, they were fair and I received my deposit back, with exception of cleaning. That seems to be okay as they were trying to get it ready for the new tenant. I enjoyed living there and much of this experience had to do with Mrs. Maria Cahill being the on-site manager. It is a nice place to live, I felt safe and the apartment was clean/well kept.

Apartments have been amazing! I like my neighbors and the staff. I also had some roaches right after I moved in, but a pack of roach bait traps from target has fixed the issue and I haven't seen a single one in over 4 months. I would be surprised if most apartments didn't have this issue with how many different people live in such a small area. I do wish there was more guest parking since I usually have to pick a guest up from down a street a few blocks away; but to be fair, I don't know where they would have the space to put the spots.

My boyfriend and i both just moved into our first apartment here and we couldn't be any happier! ALL our neighbors are great and friendly!! According to our neighbors past management was not good and did not care for the place , they say now with Maria running the place ,it has improved so much ! and i can see how much she cares for her residents and the complex! new remodeled apartments and great friendly staff !!!!

When recently looking for a new apartment I stumbled upon Sunset View. I called the office and spoke with Brianna Coleman. Brianna has been super pleasant and helpful through the whole process from my inquiry to my move-in. She has done everything to ensure that my apartment was top notch before I moved in. There was one small thing that needed to be fixed and when I emailed Brianna she promptly got this fixed for me. I cannot be happier with my new home. It's beautiful and spacious. This place is a hidden gem. I am surrounded by beautiful views.

I have been living here for a year now and I love the Management Staff and Maintenance Crew. They are very professional and fast to fix any issues that I have in the Facility and Apartment. I love living here at the Sunset View Apartments. Truly the sun sets here at night because of the wonderful management here in Our little piece of heaven. We lived here for just shy of a year! This place was astounding and Maria, the manager, took over the entire complex changed in an amazing way she cares about the tenants and the property, she was amazing through the whole process and was so kind. Our experience with sunset view after Maria took over was great she made the whole process of moving out a breeze and getting our deposit back to us quickly and not just part of our deposit we got about 85% of it back which is unheard of in this day and age. She was kind enough to give me a call letting me know that we still had mail there and that she would hold it for us till we could come get it. I can not say enough good things about Maria and her team at sunset view apartments. The view we had was amazing the apartment itself was large and well laid out. The only down side was the parking and the stairs lol but our entire experience after Maria took over was nothing short of wonderful. We will cherish the memories we made calling this place home for the time we where there.
