First-Rate service! I called sales and Alex Valdez answered quickly! I was at a Ford dealership looking at an explorer and asked him about an Acadia and knew exactly which one I was talking about! Which means, he knows what’s on the lot and that’s incredible! I told him the deal I was getting at ford and he asked to give him a chance. He was extremely kind and hospitable and knew his inventory…I would have been stupid to not at least check the vehicle out! Well, glad I did! I showed him Ford’s offer and he went to work. Got me to abandon the idea of buying the Explorer and getting into this beautiful Acadia! I could have saved a decent amount of money going with the Ford, but the Acadia looks and feels like better quality and Alex had the answer to every question I had! So definitely impressed with Alex as my salesman and hugely impressed with the finance guy Daniel Moffitt!! Daniel was incredibly nice and friendly! I’ve never seen 2 individuals be so personable and make the car buying process awesome! My youngest will be driving in a couple of years, because of these 2, this will be my first stop to do business!

First off,I want to thank Phil and the team at Swickard GMC of Palmer. From the very beginning, I was upfront about what I wanted and what I wanted to do it.
Never felt any pressure, the process went very smoothly. They did have to replace a piece on the front bumper that was damaged during the trucks transport. They replaced it, kept me in the loop on what was going on and just all in all made the experience pleasurable.

Unlike my experience with the staff at the Anchorage location. I bought a used 2016 2500hd from them and during the financial portion of the sale, finance guy asks me if I was interested in a extended warranty? I replied that I was not interested and that was I was buying gas because I could work on it myself...He keeps talking as if nothing is happening and bumps my interest rate up 2 points!

I have a temper and for the first time in my life (guess because I'm older in 50s) I didn't explode or get crazy. I just continue the process and paid the truck off in a year to the date so they didn't get 5he interest they would have had I paid over the entire 4 year loan.

Palmer location was completely opposite experience. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, I would say give them a call.

These guys went above and beyond to get us the truck we needed. Best car buying experience we’ve had yet. Happy with the truck and the facilities as a whole. A service shop that’s clean and doesn’t smell like grease? No way you say. I was just as surprised. Thanks to Matt and the rest of the team for taking good care of our needs.

Our salesman was amazing, no issues there. They pushed and pushed and pushed again for me to buy their coverage. But was way cheaper through my bank. The biggest issue with this dealership is that it took two months to receive my tag. After calling many times it was the same story "we will follow up on your tag". Fast forwarding two months. My tag comes in so I head to the Palmer store and they said "sorry it's in our Anchorage store". So I head there to get it. Once I get it I noticed they screwed up again and did not give me the "Z" registration that I paid for. The lady that was handling this issue, said she will get it fixed.....her way of fixing it was sending me a check in the mail for me to do myself. Why pay for a service that your not going to fulfill. The customer service started off great but went down hill fast once we left the car lot. I hope future customers don't get the runaround like I did.

Very friendly. I was immediately met up with a staff member that kindly showed me to the parts area personally. Parts guy is very friendly as well. Very down to earth. Place seems peaceful right as you walk in. I'll come back for my GMC issues again. I had no idea they could also fix my GMC if I had an auto accident until I saw their sign. I'll keep that in mind if it's ever needed.

They had a program to store tires which we used Went in to change tires and get the oil changed. Oil change was all we got. We’re informed the storage program was discontinued. That would be fine but our winter tires were gone and we “should have taken them home last time”. Last time we we unaware and now we’re without a set of tires. Unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never do business with Swickard again.

It was a pleasure to do business with the nice folks at Swickard GMC of Palmer/Wasilla. Very straightforward car buying experience. I was treated with respect, no back and forth haggling or nonsense. Kudos to the dealership, I received a very fair deal, and they made a sale and gained a customer. I have every confidence their service after the sale will be good too!
