We are so happy that we have been treated like real people since we moved into Sycamore Green! We started looking to move several months ago from a nightmare experience just up the street. Michael, in the office, was exactly what you want in a leasing agent. He was welcoming, kind, thorough, organized, friendly, professional and got the job done! So the application process and move-in went smoothly and painlessly because he was responsive to my many questions along the way. On move-in day he was excited to welcome us and even walked us to the apartment to make sure we were pleased. Over the weekend, I took my time and noted every tiny scratch on the move-in sheet and made a work order list with a few minor things I wanted checked and a bad smell coming from under the kitchen sink. I went reluctantly to the office because I wanted the issue fixed but didn't want to be belittled or blamed like I had been at our previous place. The manager was the one to take a look at my paper while he talked to me kindly and said something like, this is exactly the feedback we want. We will get right on it! I was relieved but not convinced that they would actually do the work. To my surprise, Alejandro, one of the maintenance men came right away and adjusted everything to my preferences and started troubleshooting the odor. Trust me I'm very particular and he communicated with us about every issue and completed all my requests. The only remaining issue was the smell which was bothering the rest of my family also. They tried a few different things like cleaning the disposal and even replacing the drainpipe, but the odor persisted. Soon Rodrigo, the maintenance supervisor, came and opened the dead space under the sink and even talked to my brother-in-law plumber on the phone at my request. As a woman, sometimes men talking to men helps things get done but in this case it didn't matter Rodrigo was determined to find the issue and fix it for us. Ultimately they replaced the garbage disposal and rubber hose and the smell disappeared! I was ecstatic and thanked Rodrigo profusely. He just said in a humble way that he just does his job well and as a result he doesn't have any problems. Advice that should be shared with the masses lol. We were so relieved and finally started relaxing in our new home. After several weeks we noticed the freezer wasn't keeping our ice cream and ice packs solid so I walked over to place a work order. Yes, you can walk-in, call, or do it online and they will respond. Unlike my previous place that I called for help while dirty water was seeping under the baseboard and their response was to tell me to go online and put in a work order!! Michael was kind as always and placed the order for me. Again, Rodrigo came quickly and checked inside the panel and determined it was not working properly and said he would get a replacement over at our convenience. Not only did he bring a refrigerator the next day but we got a brand new one which he had plugged in his shop to get it cold while I was at work so that when we switched them out it would be cold immediately! We finally, after interacting with this team at Sycamore Greens for several months, have decided that we can enjoy our home and just live our lives as it should be:) And if any future issues arise we can trust them to treat us kindly and make every effort to solve problems!

I lived at Sycamore Greens for the last 2 years. The complex is clean and inviting. I always felt safe. My 2 bdrm was clean and felt new upon moving in. It's spacious, cozy and for the most part quiet. The complex and surrounding neighborhood offers great walking/exercising options.
I would like to acknowledge Micaela, the Assistant Community Director for her welcoming kindness, and superb communication. Whether it was answering a question or putting in a work order, she was always kind and professional. Also, I'd like give a thanks to Rodrigo in maintenance for his kindness and promptly fixing things. He was very respectful and courteous coming into our home. I will miss occasional chats with both and I'm thankful for the 2 years I spent at Sycamore Greens.

I've lived here for 2 years and it is hands down the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. It's quiet and the property is well maintained. My apartment was renovated prior to moving in, had a washer/dryer and high vaulted ceilings. Parking in the complex and on the street is easy which makes it great for people coming to visit. Pet friendly, my two dogs had plenty of fresh grass and the neighborhood is perfect for long walks. Kelle & Taylor in the Office are super friendly and really care about their tenants. Any maintenance requests are handled quickly & thoroughly. Highly recommended!!!

I lived in a two bedroom apartment on this property for about a year and a half and had a few normal hiccups with the property here and there but nothing too crazy. Upon our move out we had a “final inspection” conducted by the head of maintenance who was supposed to let us know things to make sure to fix or clean in order to receive back as much of the security deposit we could get. Word from word he said “don’t bother cleaning the carpets because we will be replacing them anyways.” We then got a bill in the mail claiming they took our full security deposit ($2400) and an additional $1085 on top of that for a full carpet replacement (only the2 bedrooms had carpet). We contacted management explaining we had been told specifically “not to worry about it” and their response was “we already did it”, while taking no responsibility for what the Maintenance manager had told us, and sent the bill to a crediting agency. So that being said, we were charged around $3500 for minor problems that we were told not to worry about. Moral of the story would be to ABSOLUTELY not trust the manager or maintenance at this property..

I lived here for 6 1/2 months and once I moved out the apartment manager decided to keep my security deposit and charge me $300 for paint (for baseboards), $100+ for carpet cleaning (weren't cleaned when I moved in), and a $120+ for a cleaning fee. I asked for documentation regarding these charges weeks ago when I moved out yet the manager never provided before and after photos of what they painted and cleaned. I requested a pre move out inspection and a final move out inspection once I was completely moved out yet no one showed up for either appointment as requested. The day I moved out I went to the office as scheduled to conduct my final move out inspection only to see the office was closed a hour and a half before closing time. I called multiple times in order to do this final move out in order to avoid any confusion in communication of final move out charges between the apartment manager and the maintenance workers yet here we are. The workers here are not reliable to speak to when it comes to a final move out. The apartment manager is a scam artist looking to take renters security deposit. The apartment manager is aware that I have a video of the condition of the apartment when I moved out so her trying to say that they had to charge me $300 to repaint baseboard is false. She should be ashamed of herself and how she manages this neighborhood. Please be aware of this scam they are running especially if you're a military family like we are. I have attached photos from a 3 minute video that I took for my final move out documentation showing that the apartment manager is a liar. There is no response needed unless they plan to dispute the fraudulent charges.

The place looks very good from the outside in, but after living there for a year I can honestly say I'm glad I left. From the start we had issues, the entire apartment smelled of dog and there was a lot wrong that hadn't been annotated in the pre-move in walk through. A giant piece of gum had been stuck on the carpet, and instead of trying to clean it, they just cut the piece of carpet out. The washing and drying machines are out dated and don't function properly. I highly recommend testing them out before moving in. The place is covered in spider webs, from the bushes to the door entrances every morning. It seemed like as a renter, we were simply a number. Moving out has been the most stressful thing due to the new manager that's working there, Micaela. She has been super rude from the moment she began working there. I cannot be the only one who's noticed, but most people probably avoid interacting with management due to her. This was a major reason for us moving out. Very rude management. Kelle on the other hand has been super professional and polite and I only wish I had dealt with her my entire time at Sycamore. For the price, you can find a nicer place, with better management, in a better area.

My wife and I recently moved to Sycamore Greens from the other side of the country without first seeing the unit. The amenities are great and the campus is very quiet, which we love. However, while doing the walk through there were aspects of the apartment that didn't work for our family. We brought our concerns up with the leasing office and they worked with the maintenance team to make the updates quickly. We are still settling in and continue to find things we like about the area.

UPDATE: I posted my original review shortly after starting my lease at Sycamore, after the staff begged for a good review. The good service we experience was short lived, and our time there was marred by terrible and rude communication (Micaela especially), Windows that don't properly seal, and unexplained charges deducted from our security deposit. The move out process was a nightmare and I found staff unwilling or unable to communicate at a basic level.

Additionally we were required to continue paying $100 a month for pool and gym access that we were not able to use after the pandemic was in full swing. No offers or concessions were made to residents by sycamore or their parent company, FPI management. The money was still supposedly required to maintain the amenities, despite them not being used. I'm sure sycamore is making a pretty penny from the many residents stuck in the same situation.

Not only will I never recommend Sycamore greens and FPI management to anyone, I will be actively warning everyone I know to avoid at all costs. It's simply not worth the trouble. I recommend doing a deeper dive on reviews when taking a look at this place. I fell for the fake reviews and was part of the problem myself.

Micaela Gonzalez has an exceptional customer service skills. She helped me twice when I needed a place to stay for me and my family. Even though I choose another apartment and canceled my application she was more interested in helping me rather the persuading me in getting what I didn’t want. Sycamore greens is a great place with great people willing to help you. They make you their priority # uno rather than filing the apartments. U don’t believe me give them a call now.
