I recently had an outstanding experience with TEC Equipment. My Volvo truck needed a transmission replacement, and the team at TEC Equipment went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Not only did they complete the job efficiently and professionally, but they also didn’t charge me for the service, which was an incredible surprise. Customer phone skills are seriously lacking! This location is listed on CARB's website as an authorized test location but don't bother, they'll cut you off saying there's nothing they can't hepl you and hang up.

Three times I have needed to rent a hostler truck, three times they had a unit available on short notice, including during high demand Christmas season. Friendly and courteous staff with quick ins and outs.

I had a great experience from beginning to end! I was greeted by The parts guy Mike Melvin from behind the counter as soon as I walked through the door, he was letting me know that he would be right with me as soon as he hung up the phone from helping 2 other customers. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to truck parts! he went out of his way to find the parts I needed... including calling the other stores to find one of them! I will definitely shop there again .

I have been to many Volvo dealerships across the country and I’m always looking for excellent service. This is a challenge I am finding. Fortunately I came across this dealership and these guys mean business! I have never in my life experienced a better service from a truck dealership, ever! I highly recommend them. I had them replaced my transmission and did some Fixing of computer codes. Today I’ve been driving my Volvo and quite honestly it has never given better. Congratulations on the great service you guys!

It does take a little time for repairs, but that is due to part shortages. I just wish I could get a text or phone call when repairs are completed and not have to make calls for an update. Other than that, .the service is great

Stopped by to get a connection sleeve replaced on a radiator line, after I convinced the two Barbies at the counter it was a quick fix I was told how busy they were but a tech would likely be with me in a couple of hours. Three and a half hours later and two trips in to find out how much longer; no courtesy to let me know without my asking a tech came out, spent ten minutes looking and measuring then disappeared never to be seen again. After almost five and a half hours of watching trucks that arrived after me be taken care of I left for another shop and lo and behold, they're ready to fix my truck and he was even willing to stay late to get the job done, out of the goodness of his heart, I'm sure. I will never waste my time there again watching them walk back and forth while my hours burn away. Take a correspondence course and fix it yourself, it's faster. They don't deserve the star in my opinion, it won't post unless you give them at least one.

Love the shop at the Des Moines, Washington location. Billie Jo is great with letting us know our work order status with email updates. Really helps in knowing when our truck will be ready. Justin is our only mechanic on our truck. He knows his stuff and works hard at his job. He has also kept us in the loop on progress and ideas if needed. Justin is not afraid to call in his pro technician for assistance if needed. Together they get the job done and make things right!! Our truck will not go to any other shop unless we are completely out of reach of getting to this one. We have bobtailed over 1000 miles just to get our truck in to this shop. That's how much we like their work.
