NICE GROUNDS, GREAT MANAGER, AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR KIDS.

I've been here for a month, so far so good. The apartment is a 1 bed, and it's large, nearly 700 sq feet. It's been renovated and has a nice floor (no carpets). Everything works. The bathroom is a bit small for anyone over 5'10, but other than that, it's nice and adequate. More cupboards and closets than expected. It's expensive of course, but it's expensive everywhere in the San Diego area at the moment.

The grounds are nice too, not everyone picks up after their dogs, but everything is quite well maintained. Minus perhaps some of the wooden balcony fences that look a little old and worn. Still, it's nice enough and the garbage skips get emptied out quite often.

The neighbors are mostly quiet and polite, some even chatty and kind. In my time here I've mostly spoken to other dog owners and they're all really nice and kind. Not seen any "middle eastern" people as stated by someone else. Central Asians yes (Afghan families), but they're quite polite too and keep to themselves mostly. There's a little music heard during the day from open windows and balconies, English as well as ethnic. None of it is loud or such, just regular life signs of people, nothing bad at all.

The manager (Delia) is actually very professional and keeps a tight eye on things. How good a place is and how well it runs, is very much up to a manager and is no doubt a reflection of their work. This place actually looks clean and nice and that's most likely owing to her running things really well. She's been nothing but kind and courteous to me, in fact, I got offered pizza the first week I was here which the management will sometimes arrange for kids and tenants coming home from school (A+). Also, I've been here for one month and already been made aware of, and offered, an after school program for kids that they have here one day out of the week. There's apparently more free resources available. Not bad at all!

I will keep updating this review, but for now it's a solid 4 stars, although I would have given 4.5 if I could.

This community is very good place for living. The neighborhood are friendly. Also the property manager is in the best woman.

To be fair, when I first moved in the roaches were evident. However, after I reported it to management, they treated it right away!. With my own added home treatment- I haven't had a roach problem, and God willing, will not have one ever again. I've lived here, going on two years, and my experience has been only positive. Mngmt is Professional, courteous and responsive. If it takes them 48 hrs to get back to you, maybe keep in mind that they have more than one building here! The on site maintenance is excellent!.
You can drop your rent off conveniently in drop box, in case you miss the property manager, or pay online..submit requests online also.
No pets allowed though 🙁 and only one pool available now...my only cons.

Management has changed since my last note..and they are efficient. They only do 6 month leases and raise rent significantly now.. also the diversity is minimal, I'm black and when I first moved here, the other tenants do look at you like you're about to steal their groceries or poop on their floor...But it's not permanent, I guess you can say they're leery of strangers or black people...They have alot of space available in the apartments though, they square footage is beyond! I think the noise issue and unfriendly neighbors depends on the building you are in. And the loud, smoking Arabs are everywhere.

I have been here 9 yrs, I haven’t seen a good manager like Dahlia the one we have now! She has been here for 3 yrs Very helpful, not delaying work. Maintenance people are very helpful as well. I really recommend this place to make your home.
