On Friday, around 11 AM, I came to the office to report that my sink wasn’t working. It was clogged, and the garbage disposal wasn’t functioning either. I also requested three duplicate keys. They told me the keys would be ready that same day, and they would deal with the sink issue a bit later.

Now it’s already Wednesday evening, and I still don’t have the keys or a working sink. If I had known it would take this long to get duplicate keys, I would have gone to Walmart and made copies myself for $5. But they assured me it would be done by Friday evening or Monday morning at the latest.

Right now, I’m unable to wash dishes properly. I have to use a plunger to clear the sink every time I wash dishes. This has been my routine for several days now—wash the dishes, then use the plunger to unclog the sink, and repeat.

This is unacceptable and highly inconvenient.

I had a very great tour experience as a walk in, Daytin showed me the 2 bedroom renovated and it was to my liking. Although i have other options, il definitely give The Arlo a thought.
You guys have a very good heart warming service here.

Albert the maintenance supervisor is awesome! He took time out of his day to look at my apartment and do a pre move out inspection and was super helpful and kind!!! Anything else I need I will definitely be looking for him. Thanks again Albert!

I called the apartment complex with tons of questions! I had a wonderful conversation with a young lady named Jordan, who answered every question I had thoroughly, quickly and very professional. Out of all the places I called, she was the only one that answered every question and didn't have to get back to me on anything.

This is far one of the worst properties I have ever lived it at in my 14 years of renting. Starting from the beginning a huge red flag is NO one ever answers the phone. I would have to drive down there or walk down there just to speak with someone.

upon speaking with 3 additional residents who left the arlo they were all improperly charged as well.

the balance of what I owed changed a few times then when was sent to collections even though I lived in the apartment for a year and only had $15.90 in "damages" i still ended up owing much more that they pulled up. and they sent me to collections without hesitation of things adding up. When contacting Jada it seemed it "wasn't her" it was the agency even though it came specifically with her signature and contact information.

This office is unprofessional/unorganized and half of the girls have no clue what is going on.

other issues while living there:
Previous conversations including MOLD issues I had that made me very sick with pneumonia I have also been advised to contact the state of California consumer affairs, code enforcement and fair housing. When reported I was told a manager would contact me and no follow up even occurred. In fact I was told to contact maintenance myself as Jurnee could not be bothered to do so.

also had a serious problem with bugs which was reported numerous times which was due to my door improperly fitting resulting in a gap that allowed bugs to come in.
the gutters were backed up at one point flooding my entire car port- also told wasn’t a big deal,
often branches and hazards remained left in walkways for days.

There is random places in the complex where pieces sway by windows which at anytime could fall and injure someone as is not up to code. Including uneven walk ways where I myself have tripped on several occasions. Not to mention none of the sprinklers over in that area are properly installed as I should not be shot by a sprinkler when I walk by to my home.

The gates were always “broken” nor did I ever receive a fob to access them when they were working. Upon the gates being broken my neighbors catalytic converter was stolen not once but TWICE.

The fireplace at the main pool had exposed wires which is also concerning as it was open to the public

When asked to switch my parking spot I was told I also needed a doctors note or medical reason which in my opinion was discriminatory and against HIPPA. And especially since I felt unsafe walking from my spot, 4 months into having my carport reassigned it was ALSO assigned to another resident who knocked on my door in the middle of the night to tell me I was in his spot. When I messaged again- I asked for patience to be corrected even though I was already a current resident why am I dealing with this months later? When I responded to no surprise crickets in a response.

I am now six months out of the apartment and was sent another notice saying a revised ledger was sent out with a balance? Not sure how things are constantly so messed up there but if you value your safety, and sanity DO NOT RENT HERE.

My experience at The Arlo has been amazing, the management is really kind & friendly. Jurnee was the best, she answered all our questions and make sure our move-in process/experience was smooth and easy, the apartment complex is in a very good condition and everything we hoped for.

Albert did an outstanding job responding to an emergency maintenance call. He promptly arrived, worked diligently to address the issue, and ensured everything was tidy and clean before leaving.
