I strongly advise avoiding The Berkeley Group at all costs. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The property is poorly maintained, with constant construction disrupting any sense of peace. On top of that, mold, rust, and other health hazards are prevalent, showing how little care they put into upkeep.

Customer service is horrendous, with unresponsive and unhelpful staff who do nothing to address tenant concerns. The rent is absurdly high for the quality of housing provided, making it a terrible value.

The final straw was their inability to resolve a safety issue: a broken staircase that went unfixed for weeks, leaving tenants in dangerous conditions. Do not rent with them unless you want endless headaches and regret.

Rent elsewhere. We rented a 2br unit on Dwight from this company and they are not keeping the place maintained. An entire stairs block dropped rendering stairs unusable (supposedly pending permit from the city for several weeks now), on top elevator breaks 2-3 times a week, making an entry / exit, carrying scooters or bikes up to the apartment an impossible task. Tenants are not given keys to the alternative entry and overall is quite degraded accommodations. If mgmt improves the situation I'll update the review.

Poorly kept apartments (mold, rust, constant construction), extremely high rent, horrid customer service, etc. don’t rent with these people you will regret.
