I recently moved into the Boulders. Jaqueline in leasing was great and very easy to work with. Maintenance has also been responsive. Now that I’ve been here a few months, I wanted to share some honest input. There is a water issue. It takes almost 5 minutes to get hot water at times. And when I shower, the water switches from hot to cold. I can’t say I’ve had a good shower since I moved into and I’m in and out as fast as possible. That said, I can’t wrap my head around the high utilities bill they charge. This month, it was $188.32. I’m a single gal and I work at the office full time. I empty the trash out once a week and I only do 2 loads of laundry a week. They said they average out the bill based on the number of bedrooms but there are families that live here. I also don’t understand why they add in a “service charge” to the utilities bill. Overall, I like living here but I don’t think I would stay beyond my lease with the added charges being so high.

Hello. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have never met such rude people, who lie and steal. My apartment had no working washer dryer or refrigerator for over 4 months. I had no ru water in my kitchen. The noise from Civic is so loud, you need ear plugs. NOT KIDDING!!!!!!!! They kept telling me they would move me as I never saw the apartment I was just getting out of the hospital. I originally was going to a studio, but it was still occupied and FILTHY. I simply told the mgr.CharlieI wanted something safe and quiet. That's not what happene! I'm in Daytona 500 race every day!!!! I never got my food voucher from all the food I've had to toss. Going to laundromat when paying rent for washer dryer. Taking showers elsewhere. RUN FOREST RUN Cindy Flickinger Jacquline is Lu Ann’s puppet she makes her do the dirty work. I wouldn't recommend this place!!! It does have a great location.

The lights had been blinking off and on in the dark for more than a month outside my front door and outside my neighbor's front door downstairs. We put in numerous complaints. It took a month for the Boulders to figure out that the problem was also affecting about 30 other people on the property and that it was a wiring issue — not something Boulders could fix — out near the street that required the utility company to help. Not sure why this had to be such a lengthy process. They're not blinking anymore after that wiring was addressed.

Absolutely horrible experience since the apartment was bought out by a new company at the end of last year.
They laid off the maintenence staff and the office staff the week before Christmas 2023.
We were asked to move apartments during renovations, and they let us pick from our choice of apartments. After we made our decision, they gave the apartment to someone else. This happened 3 seperate times.
They also assigned the same parking spot to multiple apartments, so neighbors have been leaving notes on cars for the past 3 months because the office refuses to fix this.
The new company also got rid of the old online message board, where neighbors used to be able to comment suggestions, concerns, and general neighborly discussions.
They also let an abandoned cars sit for over a year without calling a tow company leaving parking spots hard to find.

DO NOT move here if you have any choice in the matter. Incredibly overpriced, since they've destroyed any semblance of "customer service" they used to have.

On Monday I requested that someone come and install a bar in the tub area for stability. When I arrived home Tuesday I was thrilled to see my request had already been fulfilled. GREAT JOB, JOE!

Just moved in and we are loving our new apartment. We appreciate the newly updated kitchen and appliances. It's spacious and has tons of closet and storage space. Out of all the apartments we toured Lorieann the property manager was the most helpful. This place is a great value.

We have been living in the boulders for 3 years now, and we are very happy with the apartment, and the community. All the team at The Boulders is very nice and take care of any issue in a efficient way. We regularly have contact with the maintenance team that is always available to respond fast to any needs in our apartment. They are very respectful and always trying to help and have the necessary knowledge to fix things around.

EDIT: Ever since the new management took over about three months ago, living in this place has become increasingly challenging. We reported two maintenance issues right after the management transition, and it's been crickets since then – no one's shown up to fix anything or has reached out about them. Trying to reach the office is like hitting a brick wall – calls go unanswered, and my emails and voicemails have been ghosted for nearly three months. They ditched the online rent payment system, so we're back to writing checks in 2024. They even let go of the maintenance staff I praised in my initial review and replaced the office staff with people who make it obvious they already hate working here. My boyfriend has had to go in to drop off our rent checks, and he said they were not friendly at all, almost seeming annoyed that he was in there to speak with them. Finally, they're kicking everyone out of their units next month for 2 weeks to fix things in the walls. It's not that I'm upset they need to comply with legalities, but it's just another headache on top of everything else.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: We are thrilled with our experience at this community. After moving in last February, I think it's worth noting that we have renewed our lease for another year here due to several exceptional factors.

Firstly, the maintenance team is simply outstanding. They respond promptly to any requests and are always warm and friendly. They make a consistent effort to engage with residents, always greeting us so warmly. Their exceptional service was a major factor in our decision to renew.

Secondly, Gammel in the leasing office has been an absolute gem. He has been incredibly helpful throughout our tenancy and it has been a true pleasure to work with him.

While the complex is older and has its pros and cons, such as non-central heating and a lack of concrete between the first and second floor units, it offers updated appliances, a spacious fenced-in deck, ample storage, and sufficient water pressure. Additionally, parking is never an issue, and the efficient use of square footage is a plus. The noise that you hear in-between units isn't even that bad compared to other units we've toured in the area/lived in.

Ultimately, it is the exceptional treatment from the staff that has made renewing our lease an easy decision.
