I live in 95209 area and my fees were raised to $285. Why they charge so much is outrageous because the only thing they manage (not very well ) is a small pool area so why do they need over $200,000.00? They say and that's why they raised the fee! It's sickening how they can get away with it. My husband moved us here but has since died from covid in 2022 and now I'm on Medi-Cal and ebt but they refused to give me a discount on the fee.
It's easy to help us who are living off of widows benefits but they refuse to help they can easily verify we are low income.
I cannot move it is too expensive to move. They do nothing for us ever since I've lived here 2008. I must say even $100 is too much.
Also why can't the people who use it pay for the pool they insist there are alot that use it so that's why they keep the pool so why can't they pay for it. It's easy to know who uses it since they have the names on file.
A The Cooper Company employee also gave private info out to my neighbors who knew I had been ticketed by HOA because I'm having a hard time maintaining my home yard ever since my husband passed. The Cooper Company could easily help me maintain my front yard and give a fee discount.
The Cooper Company is good only to certain people more than likely people they do big business with. They are all about the money.

$133 for just a gate and weekly gardeners when other communities pay less and have a club house, a community pool plus a gym. What a joke.
Who knows where all that money goes when the gate barely works.
I gave HOA life a chance after hearing horror stories and I should have listened. They always change their customer portal for various reasons who knows why and good luck on trying to keep up to their standards even though other neighbors will be able to get away with the same violation. HOA in general is not the way to live your life.

This property has the worst service. Different individuals are vying to be the director of the HOA. Their HOA has cost me a lot of money, such as with the break-in of my car. They don't take any responsibility, even though they have various cameras, which seem to be useless. They don't respond to emails. Additionally, I believe this company exhibits discriminatory practices.

This company needs to take a course on customer service. I called on Thursday, I sent an emailed on Friday & I called yesterday (2/14/24). Megan was out of the office on Thursday. Since then she’s “been” in and out of meetings. I have been having issues with the new key pad & app. Today is Thursday. The front office staff was friendly when she picked up the phone but then she was rude. After I explained my situation. That’s when she told me that Megan is busy with meetings all day. She said she was going to see if Travis could take my call. Travis was not able to take my call. She didn’t give me a reason why he wasn’t able to take my call. I’ll be waiting.

12/5/23 if Zero stars was available, I would give a Zero rating. The Cooper Company changed/replaced the current keypad system to open the gate on 11/27/23. But we are unable to open the gate with the app because they are waiting on licensing. Poor management. Why would you make a change when the licensing process is not done? Thank you for the inconvenience.

I emailed a request for architectural improvement application. Now I have to wait 30 days for an approval letter to replace my fence. This is ridiculous. I’m not adding anything, I’m not changing the height of the fence. I’m literally just replacing my 21 year old fence.

I lived in a neighborhood that was managed by The Cooper Company and I had nothing but bad experiences with this company.
The first manager we had did a horrible job of upkeep and maintaining our account, leaving our account in a pretty bad place when they left and a lot of cleanup that had to be done.
After they left, the second manager was better about upkeep & maintenance, but was very difficult to get in touch with and to talk to. I had a lot of issues with them being personally rude to me over violations and issues. They were dismissive of problems I brought up and would sometimes not even answer emails, even when I was attempting to resolve violations so I could sell my house!
Definitely a horrible experience, wouldn’t recommend this company all. If you’re looking to choose a company to manage your neighborhood’s HOA, I’d keep looking, this one isn’t worth it.

I have really enjoyed working closely with the cooper company. Tayler and Megan, especially, are very professional and always answer my many emails promptly. I was impressed with they way they conduct our meetings and handle our huge account.

Not helpful AT ALL. I have purchased 3 different gate openers for the gated area I live in and none of them work. The call box stopped working and I had no way to access my home. I called MULTIPLE times (and left multiple voicemails) over a matter of weeks as well as came to their office with the openers to replace them. Still didn’t work. I have not had a call back from this company regarding this matter. All that I’m told is “we put a work order in” and meanwhile I have zero access to my home (besides a small walking gate) now that the call box doesn’t work. All of this happens while I pay $400 a month in HOA fees.

Yikes! What a way to start the day.
They open at 9am, and already got a whole lot of attitude from the lady that answered the phone at 9:05am.
Went to verify HOA information for a client, and they seemed pretty bothered by the phone call.
