Seriously one of the worst managements I’ve encountered. I have been living at the Bundy West LA location for over a year and we have consistently had garage door issues every single month. Truly such a safely hazard. I’m not sure how management has allowed this to be an ongoing issue in a neighborhood filled with homeless people. Many bikes and various personal properly have been stolen from multiple tenants… it is a true shame that this company has not done anything to combat this serious issue. The garage should never be allowed to left open over night and it should not take over 6 hours to get the garage fixed… what if there is a serious health emergency, flight, work meeting, etc. I speak on behalf of multiple tenants and it is a shame that the Eberly company has failed its’ tenants on a monthly basis.

The Glendale Flats apartment is great! It’s an old hotel which gives it a really cool vibe. The on-site property manager is the best I’ve encountered- timely, great listener, he cares about the residents so things get done. What’s cool too is the lower level area - tv with chairs and a couch, taking table w/chairs. I sit down there to some work while waiting for my laundry and sometimes workout in the gym while laundry runs. Great living space.

Avoid The Eberly Company at All Costs

I've had an extremely negative experience with The Eberly Company. Despite multiple outstanding work orders over several months, I've received little to no assistance. Sandra Recinos and Dore Brand have consistently made empty promises without following through on any repairs. When I confronted the maintenance staff, they directly blamed Dore Brand for refusing to authorize necessary repairs.

I strongly advise against using The Eberly Company's services or renting any property from Dore Brand. Their lack of responsiveness and commitment to addressing maintenance issues is unacceptable.

11/2/2024 - Luigi Lozano is the new property manager but all the above issues still apply more than 6 weeks after their takeover

I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Sonia Godinez, the property supervisor. Sonia consistently communicates with tenants in a disrespectful and unprofessional tone, making interactions unpleasant and frustrating.

In addition, maintenance requests are handled poorly. It takes an unreasonably long time to get anything fixed, leaving tenants to deal with broken or malfunctioning amenities for far too long.

To make matters worse, Sonia has repeatedly added random charges to my account for things I did not do. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable.

I would not recommend dealing with Sonia if you’re looking for a supervisor who treats tenants with respect and manages properties efficiently.

On top of that, the property manager discriminates tenants by letting “specific” tenants do things other tenants cannot do.

I am definitely going to be escalating this situation further because this is an unacceptable behavior for both the supervisor and the manager.

I lived at their Glendale Flats location and had a great experience. The apartment was located in a very convenient location, close to grocery shops, coffee shops, and the Americana which was nice to have. The building manager Grey was very helpful in communicating and collaborating with me whenever I needed maintenance support or whenever there was an issue with the building. Pretty building with character and mountain views from the windows as well.

We lived near Runyon Canyon for 2+ years and had a great experience with our apartment, building manager, and landlord. It was a hidden gem—great price, square footage, and steps away from a great hike. We rarely had any issues, but they were always resolved quickly. Would definitely recommend living there.

This company recently purchased the apartment building I live in, but yet do absolutely nothing to keep up with the building. The prior management was on top of taking care of the building, such as making sure it was clean. They also resolved any issues way faster than this company does. If we need something done, we literally have to contact them multiple times. Ever since this company purchased the building things have gone downhill. The building is very dirty, the trash is only picked up once a week, leaving us with maggots and trash bags all over the floor near the dumpster. We have a spider infestation that still has not been resolved. The manager is rude and some of their maintenance workers are condescending. The maintenance workers also leave things around and do not bother to clean anything. For example, they left an old fridge under our back stairs, it has been there for months at this point. They were also very quick to start charging us for parking and trash pickup but put no effort in the upkeep of the building. I have lived here with my family for 15+ years and we never had to pay for parking until now. We have had to contact the city multiple times now just to get this company to fulfill their responsibilities. I don't see the point in purchasing properties that you aren't even going to bother to take care of.

Terrible company. Have been trying to get them to fix major appt problem for over a yr. Withheld tent due to such matters. Matters to the extent of me being on the bottom floor of a two story appt complex yet my ceiling leak Everytime it rains and hallway in complex has water leaking which my son has fallen due to a slip down the stairs . Thankfully their small stairs and he sustained no injuries but could still be tremendous hazard for anyone who walks in that hallway. Because it could have been worse. Close to even building a lawsuit against this company.
