A few weeks ago I noticed water coming out from under my washer. I submitted a maintenance request and within an hour or two received a phone call confirming the situation. Soon after I received a call scheduling the day and time the service people would be at my door. I could not have been more impressed and grateful at the immediate attention I received from everyone involved and the clear concise communication. The service was excellent from start to finish! Thank you so much to the amazing Foundation Group and everyone who is a part of it!!

A lot of their properties are very old, builds are full of holes and cracks, where rodens and birds nest are infested between the walls, which you can hear them scratching in your room day and night. Not to mention ants and other bugs seek through the cracks under the floor.

Management are not very accommodating to these issues and you can never get a hold of them over the phone. It is always voice mail or automated system.

Before you sign anything, make sure to inspect inside and outside. Also, check the building surroundings so you don't get screwed over.

good luck getting in touch with literally anybody who works here. they cancelled our security deposit refund check with no communication other than to tell us after the fact that we have to drive all the way to their office to come pick up the new check, which was locked up when I came even though it was during business hours. now I have to come back another day in the hopes that someone is here to give me the money they owe me, and I can’t even call ahead to make sure because again, it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone.

Managment is super nice and communication is consistent and thorough. Anytime i needed work done on my home maintenance has been quick with it any time which is amazing.

My partner received an extremely low offer from this firm, and when he requested to not be contacted any further he was harassed by their representative.
More detail on his experience in his own words:
After being harassed by the initial agent and posting about my experience online I was contacted by the owner of this firm with what was apparently meant to be an apology.  I say meant to be since it was really just a transparent attempt to get me to remove my reviews by stating how hard it was to "put food on the table" for the agents of this company given the current economic environment.
To say that argument is absurd is an understatement.  This firm's business model appears to be to offer absurdly low prices for purchases so they can then turn around to sell them at the actual value.  I made it clear to the agent before his proposal that I had already had the property assessed by a broker - Marcus and Millichap, much larger and more reputable than this firm - and they indicated a value of X.  I also indicated I was in the process of having the property appraised to refinance it.  Even knowing I had an idea of the actual value, he offered 70% of X.
Of course, the appraisal came back at X.  By refinancing instead of working with The Foundation Group I ended up with the same amount of cash from the transaction and I STILL OWN the property. So while they would have profited greatly from making it harder for me to "put food on the table" for my own family they want to cry poor to have the review taken down.
It is not as though they don't know my market either, the week after offering me pennies on the dollar for my property they listed a property for sale a short distance away for a comparable price per unit to what I had indicated my property was worth.
So yes, I'm sure they are "sorry" that my reviews are out there - they want them taken down so potential victims of their business practice aren't warned off by an online search. Don't be a sucker - if this firm approaches you to acquire your property, get a seller's broker to value your property.  Either a local broker that is highly recommended or a national broker like Marcus and Millichap or Berkadia.  Don't let these clowns rob you blind.

Tour appointment scheduled via email for their Vail Studios property. On-site manager no shows and the leasing agent/management does not answer phone calls at all. Establishes email contact after the fact and again fails to follow through with any further communication. Poor communication, unorganized, and completely unprofessional.

I have lived in an apartment building managed by the Foundation Group for close to four years now and have been extremely pleased with their responsiveness, fairness and how clean and safe they keep the premises. Every time we have needed assistance with something, they have been right on it. And the people they send out are always friendly, professional and helpful. They keep their buildings priced fairly and have always made us feel like valued tenants. Highly recommend renting in any building that is maintained by this group.
