We stopped in for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the French theme of the restaurant was perfectly executed. We started with the French onion soup, which was delicious and full of rich flavors. We then shared the French Goat Burger, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend trying this place if you’re in Lewisburg!

Gorgeous place and the best, attentive staff. The food was mostly quite good, but very modest portions. The rigatoni was disappointing - very overpriced for pasta and sauce - no meat for $33.

We had such a delicious meal and amazing experience at The French Goat. Coming from the tristate area, we were pleasantly surprised by the fine dining option in Lewisburg. Our waitress Savannah was incredibly helpful and friendly. The oysters were to die for and the Pinkie’s Up drink was one of the best I’ve ever had. GET THE TRUFFLE FRIES. The dessert was also great and I was really glad to see a dairy free option on the menu. Wish we lived closer! Must visit for anyone traveling through Lewisburg.

Our evening at The French Goat was remarkable. Our group of 4 have experience with global travel and consider ourselves to be amateur “Foodies.” We ordered a variety of appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts. Everything was expertly crafted and delivered with WV charm. Notable points for us were the oysters, the fillet cooked to perfection, and the butterscotch dessert. While we were well cared for by the entire staff, the charming host and the lovely young lady who handled our table were exceptional standouts for us. Not only will we be back, we highly recommend!

I had the duck breast special. It was absolutely phenomenal. It is very clear that the entire staff takes their job very seriously. I felt like I was in Europe with the decorations and great service. Will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I went here today to celebrate her birthday. I expected the meal to be good but it exceeded our expectations in every way: I just got back from a trip to Europe and this place gives anywhere I ate on that continent a run for its money. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and amazing food. We will definitely be back.

The French Goat was recommended to us for Sunday Brunch after a weekend at the Greenbrier. We could not have been more pleased!! First, the restaurant was clean and inviting, while classically decorated for Christmas. Our server was Trey and he was so pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable and really enhanced our experience! We ordered the basket of French pastries to start and they were light, flakey and amazing!! French press coffee went perfectly with them. The menu sounded so amazing, that we ordered 3 entrees for 2 people. Everything was seasoned to perfection and absolutely divine! 10/10 would eat there again!
