3 years in, and the building is just as beautiful as day 1. Happy to have the opportunity to try a different unit this year and make it just as special!

My partner Jesse and I couldn't have done it without all the help and accommodations from the front office. Parris and Bree, we appreciate you both so much for always making time for us and our 2 pups! And most of all, for making The George feel like home... Thank you for that!

Amazing Leasing Team That Truly Cares!

Moving to my first apartment in San Francisco was both exciting and a bit overwhelming, but the leasing team at the George made the entire process smooth and stress-free. From day one, they were there to guide me through everything, and their support didn’t stop after I signed the lease. Whether it’s answering questions, helping with maintenance, or addressing any concerns, they’re always responsive, kind, and ready to help.

They’ve handled every request I’ve had with care and professionalism, going above and beyond to ensure that my experience as a resident is the best it can be. I truly feel like they care about making this building feel like home for everyone.

NOTE: This review is solely regarding my tour of The George while I was visiting San Francisco, so I cannot comment on the leasing process, nor residing at The George.

This review is to acknowledge my visit to The George on Monday, April 11, 2022, and private tour from on-site representative, Gabriel (Limas) Astor. Thank you, most sincerely, to Mr. Astor (and other staff present that day) for his very considerate, professional, and amazing (thorough) tour of a newly developed residential community; also including redevelopment of the neighborhood. Please see enclosed photographs.

This property is holistically designed, with multiple amenities, indoor and outdoor, lower level and upper (rooftop) level, as well as adjacent park. Recent years have demonstrated the importance of residing an a place that is sensitive a balanced lifestyle (where we live). To me at least, this property is a balanced live, work, enjoy space.

Please consider this property when evaluating where to live in San Francisco, and leasing representatives stand by ready to support your interest.

Please excuse my very delayed Google review post during this month of September, given that the actual tour took place during April 2022.

I moved into The George recently and Luis was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole moving process. He helped guide me throughout the tour, all the way to finishing the paperwork for signing a lease. I really like the amenities in the building and location is pretty central to bart/shopping/etc!

I had a great experience living at the George and just resigned my lease here! The staff here are super friendly and always ready to help with any issues or concerns. The location is perfect for anyone who needs access to public transportation, with the BART station just a short walk away. The amenities are also great - with a well-equipped gym, a comfortable working space, and a beautiful rooftop area for relaxing or socializing. Highly recommend The George to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable living space!

PLEASE DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT - WORST EXPERIENCE! Be Careful and find alternative apartments.

The location is not safe. There is trash, homeless people screaming all the time, drug addicts walking around. The place around the building is not safe. The building is beautiful but don’t let that fool you. The current GM doesn’t respond to emails. I sent and no one has answered back.

She also is attempting to charge me $900 for cleaning and painting of a two bedroom apartment. I left the place clean but they feel it is your responsibility to make the place perfect before the next person moves in. The additional charges were not removed when I asked her but then she sent that to collections without corresponding with me about this. Also refuses to send me a breakdown statement of what I am being charged for.

My experience at The George has been amazing. Luis was extremely helpful and accommodating during the tour of the building, providing excellent service, which resulted in my moving in and I am very happy with the staff and what the building has to offer.
