My wife and I lived at The Grant for almost two years and loved every day here! We only had to move due to relocating for a new job. Their maintenance team keeps both buildings and all the amenities spotless 7 days a week. Very quick to respond to any maintenance requests. The rooftop pool and gym are better than any apartment I have ever seen. Would recommend this place to anyone near the area.

Update: I have been at the Grant three months now. I hope to be here a long time. This is an update on terrific service received. 10/12/2024 (-My dryer was having issue. It needed a repair. Jesus is a very knowledgable person and very professional. He came and diagnosed the issue and repaired it on the same visit. I could not ask for better service. He is friendly too which is much appreciated.)
The Grant is a nice property conveniently located in downtown Concord. The building was new in 2023 and is well kept. Rents are competitive meaning somewhat expensive as all downtown areas in California. The amenities here at the Grant are outstanding. A bonus here is a parking spot comes with unit. In cities that is a big deal if you own a car. I really suggest looking if you are in the market to rent in Concord, Ca. The staff here are wonderful. Very responsive and always open to questions. They love dogs too.

This is my 3rd year of living in The Grant. Overall my experience has been satisfactory, no major complaints about the living experience. The cleanliness in the building is always maintained including the lobbies and the lift. The people who live in the community are also very nice.

Amazing stay. I’ve been here for a couple of months now and it’s been great. Restaurants, cafes, breweries are all within walking distance and it’s super close to Bart. Hal, Kaly, Brian, and Jesus and staff are the sweetest and have been pretty responsive whenever I’ve had a question. Love that there’s a coworking space and rooftop. Love it so far!

We compared prices with many areas in California and for the amenities offered this place is the best option for us, close to the Bart station and Todos Santos Plaza and with fun weekly activities, it is pet friendly and has a spa area for them is the best.

Recently moved into the Grant after months of searching around the Bay Area. The community is very nice, has a great gym and amenities, and feels safe and secure. Most of the residents seem great and Janae and Tai at the leasing office are amazing. Our first maintenance issue has been resolved very quickly and professionally. I’ve lived at Avalon and other properties and The Grant seems much better so far. Will update my review as we go.

This property is charging far too much for these units. You can get the same thing for $500 less (AND a hot tub) at the properties down the street. You cannot call this building safe and secure with a good conscience.

Emails are sent out weekly to ask residents to not leave gates open and not let people into resident only areas. The management company could easily spend the money on durable door swings (they bought the cheap spring that gets held open by a breeze), but it's cheaper to blame the problem on the residents rather than spending money on things like security cameras in the garage (there are still zero on each floor) and other blind spots throughout the property. Packages are constantly going missing from the package room and hallways with the thieves that wander into the halls and are let inside. Cars are broken into monthly and when items are stolen management responds with "maybe you shouldn't leave things in your car anymore."

They have one good manager and she's on her way out. Avoid this property and look elsewhere for your money. You may as well get a penthouse in Emeryville or Oakland for what they're charging here.

The Grant is a beautiful place to live. The amenities are amazing, my personal favorite is the pet spa. With two dogs, the space makes it so much easier to clean them. The location is great! Within walking distance to many delicious restaurants, parks, and BART.
