Avoid this place at all costs!

I deeply regret renting here, and the move-out process was the final confirmation that this apartment complex is a scam. The charges were ridiculously high and completely unreasonable. I was billed for damages that were already there when I moved in, yet management refused to acknowledge my concerns or provide any reasonable explanations. No matter how many times I tried to get answers, they ignored my concerns and stonewalled me. It became clear they were just looking for ways to squeeze more money out of tenants.

After going back and forth with the management company—while the property itself refused to cooperate—I eventually had no choice but to pay the absurd charges just to move on. The lack of integrity in their business practices is shocking.

While the scenery around the complex is nice, it doesn’t make up for the poor living experience. The apartments are not soundproof at all—I could hear my neighbors walking around all day, and it felt like I had zero privacy. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is NOT the place for you.

At the end of the day, this place is run by greedy management that prioritizes profit over fairness. Don’t fall for it—save yourself the frustration and find a place that actually values its tenants.

We stayed on this lovely community for about four years. The scenery is quite pleasant, from the leaf color change on Avondale Road to the enchanting Mount Rainier.

There are a few places for good sports besides the community facility. A walk to Hartman Park is always quite nice. There is Redmond Pool near the Park. Some children even play some snow sports in that area after it snowed.

The location is also very convenient. Costco, Fred Meyer, Target, Safeway, Rite Aid, Kohl's, Brown Bear Car Wash are all very close. It is also very easy to get onto 405 through 520.

The apartment management team is very nice also. We appreciate all the convenience the team has provided to us and the fun ideas provided by the team. It can take some time for the maintenance request to be processed. However, we understand that scheduling and spare parts purchasing can all takes time. We are glad that the management team always help us to get the problem solved.

We leave now to get closer to the office. However, the stay in the Heights is a good memory to us and we wish the place prosperous.

A decent residential community in Redmond. Specious rental houses are equipped with all necessary basic facilities. Sufficient parking facilities are available. Additional features making this a better place to live are the equipped gym, swimming pool, spa, grill in common area, playing area for children, dog park, abundant place for walk etc.

We just wanted to let you know how well organized and managed the recent Fireplace and Sprinkler system inspections were handled.
Myles, the current supervisor did an outstanding job of planning, scheduling and implementing the process. Since he planned to have each inspection team go into each unit at same time and kept them on schedule is a feat in itself. Planning this type of inspections in a 200 plus unit property that houses multi cultural tenants, he managed to pull it off beyond anyones expectations.

Maintenance at the complex is top-notch. They are prompt and efficient in addressing any issues that arise, and if there are any delays, they make sure to communicate that with you. In my four years of living here, I have never had any problems with maintenance.
The leasing staff also handle matters professionally and do their best to assist residents.
As for amenities, they are decent. The gym, though small, is well-equipped, and the sauna and hot tub are in good working condition. The pool is a bit small, but the two barbecuers are a nice touch, although there are restrictions on the number of guests allowed. The dog park is a great feature, and the complex is pet-friendly with some breed restrictions in place.
However, parking can be a challenge as the garages and covered spaces come at an additional cost, and the limited parking spots can be an issue, especially when guests are over. It is often seen that residents don’t respect the handicap spots. Overall, it’s a comfortable living environment with a few minor drawbacks to consider.
Please be advised that there have been multiple instances of garbage bags being left on the ground in the dumpster area, likely due to parents allowing their children to handle the disposal. Additionally, we have experienced a series of break-ins involving packages, as our regular package system was recently out of service. It has come to our attention that there have been several incidents of unauthorized access to the mail area as well.
The speed at which vehicles are driving through the apartment complex is concerning. Implementing speed limits and installing a traffic light at the entrance would greatly improve safety for residents. The high volume of traffic makes it challenging to exit the complex, and the number of accidents in the area is alarming.
The layout of our three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment has been ideal for my family. The spacious rooms, especially in our renovated unit, have provided us with the comfort and functionality we were looking for.

Myles on the maintenance team is great. The guy filling in for him left a leaky bathtub and washer/dryer unhooked from the water line. As soon as Myles heard the issue he was up in less than thirty minutes and had everything fixed before an hour had passed. Having maintenance staff that care and take pride in their work makes all the difference in the world when deciding where to live

The Height at Bear Creek a very clean and quiet place to live. Maintenance gets work done in a very timely manner and are very friendly. Office staff are all professional, courteous and helpful with any questions or issue. So far my overall experience here has been pleasant. Parking can be challenging to find if you have more than one vehicle but no real complaints so far.
