Stephanie was very unprofessional. We bought a house that The Jensen Group - Parkway was marketing. We put in an offer and the builder accepted our offer.

We noticed that the garage door was way too small. Stephanie said they were going to replace it but left out the fact they were gonna replace it with a cheaper old 70s looking garage door without windows.

“Completely” changing the look of the house. She never put this information in the MLS description that the other door was a temporary door for pictures purposes.

Stephanie sent pictures to our agent with the new replacement door, a 70s looking door without windows. We stated several times that we wanted the same look with the original door but one that actually fits though.

Stephanie said it was her bad for not putting it in the MSL so she would be paying for the door out of pocket to make up for her mistake and replacing it with the original looking door.

They had over 15 days to get this corrected. She waited to the last day we were supposed to be moving in and just replaced the panel with windows instead of getting the same looking door that we previously discussed and had in writing were under the impression they would be replacing due to her error and not stating this in the description prior to our offer. This is very shady and false advertisement.

After just replacing the window panel the day of moving, we said we wanted the original look of the door that we agreed upon.

Stephanie replied with a snarky statement, saying that “They could have the original door that doesn’t fit if they would like!”

What is going on with the miscommunication, Stephanie. Very passive aggressive, knowing that we were heading down from Washington to move it into our new home.

We had a problem with our shower not heating up so we contacted our agent to contact the builder, and she said Stephanie would be calling. Stephanie texted me instead of waiting for Monday for the builder to be back out said she could send us a YouTube video so we could fix it ourselves instead of bothering the builder to come fix it.

Stephanie definitely needs to work on her communication and people skills. Buyers be aware if you have to deal with this company.

I rented a studio from Hobie and Stephanie, and they were everything you could ask for in landlords: quick to respond, quick to address maintenance, and overall really nice people. They fully furnished the studio with everything I needed, even supplying me with trash bags, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and other household items so I didn’t need to do a huge Target run the second I moved to Chico. I highly recommend them as landlords or realtors!
