After a lifetime living in Southern California, we moved to Danville knowing we wanted to ultimately find a single story Forever Home, that had an extra special.........POP!

We extensively combed realtor reviews looking for someone to help us in our search. One name that kept emerging, over and over, was Julie Long. There was just something about her, that seemed to stand out among the rest.

We first met with Julie in January of 2024 and it quickly became apparent that we had made the right choice in selecting a realtor. Julie has an absolutely phenomenal knowledge of Danville, Blackhawk, Alamo and surrounding areas. In 4 months, we looked at over 60 homes and she was unbelievably patient, understanding and painstakingly thorough during our search.

In our quest for the ‘perfect’ home, we actually got close to making an offer several times but Julie called our attention to some items that we had missed, that actually had us reconsidering our decisions. This is utterly AMAZING, in that she could have easily agreed with our first impressions, made a sale and moved on to another client.

It became crystal clear to us, that Julie Long was WAY more than a realtor, she was like a close, trusted, personal friend, who was ALWAYS looking out for our best interests.....one hundred percent of the time!

After 4 months of searching, Julie called us on a Tuesday evening to let us know of a house that was possibly coming on the market Thursday. She set up a gate pass so we could drive by Wednesday and then made arrangements, such that we were the very first to see it on Thursday. By that evening, we submitted an offer, it was accepted on Friday and we were already in escrow, just as the house came on the MLS.

None of this would have happened without Julie’s intimate knowledge of the area, along with her innumerable connections and relationships she has honed, in over 20 years of working in the area.

We've known Julie since our kids were young and we were in the first Blackhawk mother's group. Since those days, we've watched Julie's career grow and have read countless positive reviews about her and her team. When we decided to sell our house in Blackhawk, I sent Julie an email at about 10PM and received a response within 30 minutes to set up a meeting to discuss details. A couple days later she met us with a market analysis binder for our property and a marketing presentation on how to sell our house. She was very knowledgeable about all of the details of the area market. She is incredibly responsive, very detail oriented, and one of the hardest working people that I know. During our house sale, Julie was very effective in keeping multiple potential buyers in the game until we had a fully-vetted and qualified buyer in contract - not a simple task given the current market dynamics.
