I've lived here now going on three years at the Lakehouse. I love the location, and the current Property Management Chase is amazing! He communicates well with the tenants is great and is doing a wonderful job at keeping the property looking nice. Just like any apartment community it does have its ups and downs, but they do a great job.

UPDATE: September 2023 Signed another lease. The best thing ever is how well insulated and well built. The Leasing agents are super AWESOME, very Helpful. It was so simple signing the lease. I have had. 3 years has been wonderful I look forward to many more. I still feel the same as my first day, "a little peace of NATURE .
Update Another year still loving it. New leasing agents amazing. *UPDATE*I just signed my new lease for another lovely year. Wonderful leasing agents, (SHOUT OUT TO AMBER hey girl), excellent maintenance crew even if you need after hour help someone will answer the phone. Extremely quiet. And super great news for bus riders the 29 is going to be adding more trips around the lake come October. I am definitely home and safe and content. It's a little tucked away from the road easy access to shopping fun and yes the lake. Friendly people always a wave and a hello. Great place to live. Oh don't forget valet trash service 5 nights a weekThe Lakehouse apartments are lovely, the grounds keepers are wonderful. It’s nice to have valet trash service right at my front door. I love being a part of a community of friendly people that wave and say hello. My apartment is lovely large, fireplace, gorgeous bathroom, big windows, tons of outlets, full size W/D and storage right off of my back patio,I like the park setting beautiful clean and well-maintained. Having convenient areas to walk my dog with bags and trash to make it convenient for picking up after my sweet Hazel. It’s quiet And I feel extremely safe even at night walking my dog. Super convenient for me considering I ride the bus I can get to the mall Winco Costco North Everett the bus I can catch right in front. This is where I can see myself living forever best decision I ever made when I moved here. Oh yes the gorgeous walk around the lake trail is wonderful and the frogs and squirrels and birds. Nothing better than a bit of nature.
*Update* The Lakehouse apartments have built new area with 2 large Gas grills picnic tables, the pool area is looking spiffed up with lounge chairs umbrellas and made it wheel chair friendly. It is child proof so no worries about little ones getting in.
They’re working on new roofing so many great changes happening right in front of my eyes. I will be taking pictures so adding them for more updates.

I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment complex. Here are the reasons:

Heavy Security Deposit: I was charged a hefty security deposit when I moved in.

Unfair Move-Out Charges: I stayed for only one year, and when I moved out, they imposed excessive charges despite the apartment being returned in a clean condition. I even provided a video taken on the last day showing the cleanliness of the apartment.

Poor Response to Follow-Ups: Despite multiple follow-ups via email and phone, their response time was extremely slow and unhelpful.

Unjustifiable Fees: The charges included fogging, heavy unit cleaning, and extensive painting, which were exorbitant and unjustified. While I accepted some cleaning charges, the rest of the fees were unreasonable given the effort we put into thoroughly cleaning the apartment before leaving.

When I reached out to discuss these charges, their response was unsatisfactory. They refused to remove any charges after reviewing the situation with their Regional Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

Overall, my experience with this apartment complex was extremely frustrating and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I’ve loved being here. After a lot of searching around the Everett/ Mill Creek area, this apartment just kept coming to mind. I came back 3 times to see the place because I loved it so much. The staff has been helpful and friendly throughout the process. I’ve also met the two repair guys and they are very helpful as well. Really enjoying my new space.

lived here two years. my car was stolen from the carport I payed $60 a month for. no cameras or help or anything from the leasing office except asking for a list of things that had been in my car so they could put in an insurance claim for themselves probably. rude staff (nice ones seem to have been fired), but the maintenance guy is nice. after the first year they raised our rent $300/month ($100 per bedroom) we asked to negotiate and were told that was an option and were then ignored for months before being told that they wouldn't negotiate but would offer us EITHER 1 month of free parking OR a carpet cleaning. would've moved then, but i had surgery and couldn't lift furniture. it was clear when we moved in that the place had gotten the landlord special, as there were specks of white paint all over the floor, and they'd painted the doors and doorframes to the point where they'd stick together so you'd have to yank the door open. they charged us $150 on moving out despite us cleaning everything really well and damaging nothing. they put interior doors on the deck closet, so they get super warped by the weather. awful communication in general, overpriced, loud cars, and children playing in the parking lot instead of the playground. also, just bad vibes. I told the leasing staff person where I was moving to, and she told me there would probably be a shooting there.

Save yourself a year of endless hassles and DO NOT RENT HERE. If you’re like me a year ago looking at reviews and thinking ā€œhow bad could it actually beā€, let me tell you, it’s bad. To start out with, we picked an apartment out, put down a deposit. A month later they called us to tell us that the previous tenant changed their mind about moving and it was no longer available but could switch us to a different one. Upon move in they told us the cleaners couldn’t come on their scheduled day so we needed to push back move in to the next week. We said that our lease with our current apartment ended on Monday and that wasn’t an option. They basically said too bad and they could just refund us our deposits. We said no, we have a brand new baby and we will be homeless on Monday so make this work. They gave us a list of their in network cleaners ( 2 options besides their normal one) and WE HAD TO CALL THEM and beg someone to do it last minute. The cleaner on the list that was willing to do it did a terrible job, it was filthy upon move in, and had to be recleaned, but they left us with no other options. This was just the start of what has been a year of hell.

They require you to pay for valet trash on top of regular trash fees, but it’s only available during the week and the amount of days they skip seems to be as many as they actually pick up. We’ve complained multiple times, no changes. The parking situation is an absolute nightmare. Cars parked on curbs every night because there’s not nearly enough parking. We immediately found out we needed to purchase a second assigned parking spot, but they had none available so they put us on a waitlist. Never heard from them about it again, checked in a few months later and was told they actually gave all available parking spots to a corporate company, despite having over 15 people on the waitlist waiting for spots. But hey, corporate's gonna pay big bucks and that’s obviously all that matters. We actually stopped a car break in with our parking spot neighbors car, and break ins andĀ theft were a common occurrence.

The apartments look nice at first, but it’s landlord special after landlord special the longer you are in it. Paint over holes on the walls, white paint splatter all over the floors and bathtubs, red+green paint on floors, glitter glue on countertops. There’s one maintenance person (who I will say is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met) for a whole complex, so unless it’s deemed an emergency on their part it will be awhile. There’s dog poop covering the property, the dog park is a joke. It’s all gravel and the dogs hate it, but hey, you can charge more if your property says dog park. There’s constantly people smoking marijuana and cigarettes in the apartments which in the summer means no open windows or AC units, especially since we have a baby. The managers all have a "because I said so" attitude. We have met multiple people in the complex and everyone has the same opinion. For almost $3000 for an apartment, you can find something so much nicer than this place. The only peace of mind I get is that we rented during a special so we didn’t have to pay this much, otherwise we would have broken our lease months ago and found ANYWHERE ELSE to live.

The worst part is that during the move out process, we cleaned all of the carpets with an industrial steam cleaner but they still charged us $400 simply because we had pets in the unit even though the carpets were very clean and in good condition when we moved out. They also charged us $300 for cleaning even though we spent two days cleaning the entire place, and charged $200 for painting even though all they had to do was paint over a few nail holes in the living room which we filled ourselves before moving out. $900 for basic wear on an apartment from simply living there is insane and so unreasonable.Ā  We tried to talk to them about all of this but of course they didn’t care about anything we had to say. It takes days to even get a response and they just brush off our questions. Just SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T RENT HERE.

Best apartment management and community experience yet! Been a renter for 20 years and by far this is the best, most professional, and friendly team I’ve worked with.

Above and beyond assistance to help meet my needs and love the amenities. The door side trash and recycling pickup is my favorite amenity I didn’t think I’d love so much!

All management team members are friendly and wonderful. Maintenance has been great and attentive and flexible with scheduling with my unique needs and service dog at home.

The apartment has the coolest layout of any apartment I’ve toured (and I’ve seen a lot!) or lived in. This is by far my favorite place I’ve lived in and I plan to stay here for many years to come. The unique floor plan with generous square footage fits all my big furniture that most places wouldn’t.

Love the huge closets and in unit amenities like microwave, full-size washer dryer, patio, fireplace, wood blinds, and more.

So happy here. Love The Lakehouse!

****Edit to add:*****

It’s been two lease renewal later and I’m STILL SO HAPPY to be here! The communication is excellent among management office and tenants. The landing page for residents is easy to navigate for maintenance requests which is unparalleled for any other place I’ve rented in 29 years of my adult life.

The maintenance technician, J. (For privacy), has been here as long as I have been and long before and he is so kind , knowledgeable; and the FIRST person at a leasing office as an agent for them I would ever trust alone in my apartment (before I even had security cameras for apartment security against any possible issues as a woman living alone. I trust him IMPLICITLY and I’ve even met his family as they have been by at the end of a work day and J. Has made above and beyond efforts to make sure I’m good even if he’s coming by at the end of his work day to ensure my maintenance issue is attended to.

Maintenance is not needed often, but they are always on top and above and beyond to ensure the apartment is a place of enjoyment and a sanctuary for each tenant.

The soundproofing is amazing— I feel like I live on an island (in a good way!). If I didn’t actually SEE my neighbors I wouldn’t think I lived around people! Thick walls, thick ceilings and I can’t tell I live below people ever!

People are beyond courteous to each other and always smiling and waving like it’s our own slice of The Andy Griffith Show home town and it’s truly a community we are all proud to live in.

There’s a good trash system that picks up door side which is a blessing. They are big on recycling here which makes me happy, and trash gets whisked away like magic mice come by and take it away!

Lease renewals are fair and reasonable for rent increases that you can actually afford when you want to stay here for a long time/good time not be bullied out by $150 a year increases.

Management is so nice and I love going to say hi to my favorite people in the office and grab a complimentary coffee and snack.

The next is the Amazon lockers, too. Your UPS, FedEx (I’m pretty sure they do, too), USPS, and Amazon deliveries are safe inside waiting for you to get them. This is a peace of mind money can’t buy: right on your door step of the office side building. The mailboxes have package lock boxes for them too which is great.

So much attention to safety.

And they are always improving the property to be better and better! I had a drainage yard issue they promptly put a French drain in that was amazingly fast. If there is safety issues they address them too.

Overall: a community that cares and management and maintenance that truly cares about you as a person not a number. And the views are beautiful with a lovely park across the street and a seasonal pool, TRX and workout room, and dog park, kids playgrounds, and is clean and what home feels like ā¤ļø
