They got me in a fully renovated unit with one month free rent and a $250 discount on the deposit. The property has mature trees and feels alive and best of all it’s less than a block from Howarth Park. 10/10 would buy again. Property manager and maintenance guy are also very kind. Happy to call this place home.

I've lived here for years and I feel like doing my part in saying these apartments are a wonderful place to live. The pool is quite enjoyable and it even has two grills to use! The premises are well maintained and any labor done on the property is done at a reasonable hour. The age of the place does present complications that any home would face by this point but maintenance is knowledgeable enough to zap any issues almost immediately. And above all, the management cares about each individual. They've gone above and beyond their duties to ensure all needs are met by any resident who requests their services. They do a tiptop job of keeping this place I'm order.

There are a few unavoidable issues concerning the property but at this capacity they're inevitable. Secondary parking can be difficult to find at times and navigating large furniture during the moving process can be difficult. But doable!

Quite grateful to be living in such close proximity to Santa Rosa's largest park, a number of wonderful schools and a state park. Can't go wrong with this!

The best property management and maintenance team, not only are they kind but very timely in communication, we never had to wait more than a day for maintenance requests or a response. The complex is also beautiful and well taken care of, shout out to Claire and Augstin, they have been great!

My fiancƩ and I have recently moved into the Marq Apartments and at first we were worried because of the past negative reviews about the previous management. However, we were instantly relieved once we interacted with Rebecca and Rose who were delightful in greeting us and setting us up in our new home. They were very straightforward and organized with all of their paperwork, and they were very welcoming and kind when showing us around the complex. Our apartment is as pictured, the appliances are new, we have air conditioning, a washer and dryer inside our unit, and a gas fireplace! How amazing is that!? Our area is family-oriented, next to schools and churches, and feels very safe. It was wonderful our first week to see people around the neighborhood taking evening walks with their partners, kids, and/or pets. Parking with one car is breeze as they give you a covered parking spot, but with two cars can be tricky later in the afternoon, a fact they were up front with before we moved in. There are a lot of trees and ample shades our apartment doesn't get too hot, and we enjoy hearing the wildlife. This is a lovely spot and we are happy to make the mark our new home in Santa Rosa!

We moved here from out of state and wanted to rent for a year before buying a house so we could get to know the area. I moved in January and the pool/gym/etc were being remodeled and they told me it would be done in February. It wasn’t done until after Memorial Day. There’s not enough parking and that isn’t evident upon moving in. Everyone has parked in a fire lane the entire time we’ve lived here for that reason. Today, with no notice, they towed all the cars without notifying anyone that they would suddenly start enforcing this when it very clearly wasn’t before. And this happened while we are still waiting for them to fulfill our work order for maintenance that we submitted 12 days ago. One day I saw a woman berating the maintenance guy and I felt bad for him and thought she just had a sense of entitlement. But in retrospect I think it was deserved. While I normally accept responsibility for my own actions and don’t feel bad for people often, I feel they could’ve given notice about the parking situation and I wouldn’t be fuming with anger. We were following the established norm for the area. $315 dollars and missed work and then we will have our car back because they can’t provide parking for their residents and couldn’t extend the courtesy of warning people before towing. Don’t live here if you have two cars.

DO NOT MOVE TO THE MARQ.!!
RECENTLY DID A BUY OUT on 02/18/2022 OF *$4,789.00 and just today 03/01/2022 I have received the *deposition of security deposit* in the mail which states me and my spouse owe 1,737.18.! charging me and my spouse 1,498.00 for a ā€œJG HAULING FULL PAINT JOBā€

is this normal? And another thing we left for personal reasons and it says on my ā€œreason for movingā€ it says ā€œlease break-pet policyā€ my utility bill is 439.00 but my water is included in my rent? and my rent has never been paid late. I understand that there is a bill for the last billing cycle but 439.00!

me and my spouse paid for the buy out for 4,789.00 half of the rent for the remainder of the month which was 1,700, and now my final bill for the disposition of security deposit of 1,737.18

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. In the lease for the buy out it states ā€œresidents will be charged for damages to the lease premises beyond ā€œnormal wear and tearā€. I am fine with everything else that’s stated on the deposition but the paint job. I CANNOT BE UNDERSTANDING TO A LEASING AGENCY THAT IS SCAMMING PEOPLE. Any suggestions or similar situation feedback would be also. nice.

If you’re like me, you check reviews before checking out a new potential living situation. Let me start off by saying Olivia is great. She has a positive attitude and knows her stuff. She had us sold on The Marq really quick. However, the property manager seems to be non-existent. We were approved only to find out they wanted to charge us $2075 instead of the shown $600 for the deposit because we previously lived with a friend. That seemed a bit strenuous so we asked to talk to the property manager about it. She gave us some paper work to fill out in order to settle things on the deposit. After we turned it in we never heard from them again. I had asked Olivia on our way out if she would be sending over the rest of the paperwork and she said yes. Never happened. Our move in date was to be December 17th, we applied early in November. It is now January 11th and they never got back to us. Needless to say, we found somewhere else to live. We have called them on several occasions asking for our holding fee back (which we were told was refundable if we changed our minds). The property manager is always conveniently not in and it’s something Olivia can’t handle. I would suggest looking elsewhere as the Marq seems to have some shady practices going on. Take your time and money where you will be treated better. Such a shame too. It is a nice place, in a beautiful location, but filled with false promises.
