Seth is a great and knowledgeable realtor. He worked incredibly hard to get my family into an amazing home for the second time. When touring houses, Seth was always an honest third opinion, who could help my wife and I walk through the house and make sure it was the right fit for us. He was never pushy, and could always tell if my wife and I were trying to convince ourselves to like a home that really wasn’t for us.

Paperwork was a breeze, and Seth was very helpful when writing up an offer. He was aware of our financial situation and because he knows the area well, he would give his advice to make sure our offers were in line with what he thought the house would appraise for.

Our home purchase process took approximately seven months, and throughout that time Seth was incredibly supportive in helping us navigate the market in Madison. His knowledge of the local market, including relationships that he has clearly built over the years, was extremely valuable. From seller's agents to lenders to contractors, Seth was highly regarded and his positive relationships with many individuals in the local market were beneficial to us as we worked our way toward an accepted offer. We appreciated his candid insight while allowing us to come to our own decisions. Even though we looked at many homes, Seth was always more than willing to arrange his schedule around our visits and we never felt like he was unavailable to us. We would definitely use Seth again!

I’ll be completely honest here, I had no idea what to expect as this was my first time entering the housing market. I was kicking myself a little for waiting, but life happens, and I needed a home. The loan officer at work recommended that I give Seth a call and she assured me that she’s been doing this for a long time, and that Seth is one of her absolute favorite realtors and just a terrific human being. I could not agree more as I had a fantastic experience through a 6 or 7 month process that ended in finding a house and a neighborhood that I really enjoy calling home.

The market, at the time (spring - summer 2023), was arguably one of the most challenging housing markets in many years. Interest rates were at a 30 year high, inventory was low, and the competition was fierce. I felt quite discouraged at times, especially after losing out on a few offers that I felt were the best I could do. Seth always assured me there is “always another house” and he was right. Seth also assured me early on that he would always act in my best interest. This was always true and he even flat out told me that the price I wanted to pay for a house I really liked was too high and I should consider walking away. Seth was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods. I really appreciated how he would point out a lot of little details and potential problem areas in the homes. He was always knit picking in a good way because he didn’t want me to end up in a situation I was not expecting. One tiny example, is how he pointed out what it would be like to have a garage in the basement of a home and then have to walk up a flight up stairs to carry in the groceries. Another house did not have an easy way to access the back yard which I totally overlooked but Seth noticed right away (he was looking out for my dog too!).

I cannot emphasize enough how Seth does not pressure you at all. I was getting discouraged around the 5 month mark and he flat out told me that it’s totally normal and OK for this to take as long as it takes. If it takes a year then it takes a year. Luckily, I found a house about a month later. Seth also recommended writing a letter for this particular home. I did and I know it made a difference. I’m not sure I’d have my current house if it wasn’t for Seth. I highly recommend him with zero hesitation and will surely be giving Seth a call in the future if my housing needs change.
