We recently moved in and had a couple maintenance issues. Best maintenance I have seen in an apartment complex hands down! Super professional, friendly, quick to show up, and got the job done! Super happy with office staff, as well. Very pleasant and pressure free environment. Super impressed with everything so far!

I have lived at The Stinson for almost two years. My experience has been okay, is the nicest way for me to put it. Almost nobody in this complex follows rules from PARKING (being a large one), to leaving their trashes outside so long ..rats are tearing into them, to throwing stuff in the dumpsters they are not supposed to so they are always full, to people living in the garages, drugs, not cleaning up after pets, etc. I understand most of this is the responsibility of the tenant themselves, however, they must not be being held accountable enough for this because it continues on the regular. I don't know what management needs to do here, start charging fines for everything, do more apartment AND garage walk throughs, do more walk around the complex itself. I don't know what the answer is honestly. It just sucks when you respect your home and property and Most everyone else does not.

On that note, we currently have Xavier working in property management. I actually think he is the assistant property manager but you would never know it because he is the only one with a presence here besides maintenance. He is somewhat new but has made an effort to assure myself and my husband that they are trying to get things fixed. He has also tried to bring the community together with his events. Our most recent being a pool party. There was food, drinks, photos, and fun to be had. My husband and I don't really participate in this sort of thing because we don't have kids but we wanted to stop by to let Xavier know that we appreciate the effort he is putting in. There has also been trick or treat bags, ginger bread contests, cookie decorating, raffles, etc. I appreciate these things as a resident.
Maintenance is always friendly, easy to talk to, and gets issues corrected quickly and efficiently despite his busy schedule.
I gave 5 stars despite all of my complaints because of Xavier and Manuel. I have high hopes this place will continue to get better.

I moved in about 3 months ago. The complex itself is fine. They agreed to replace my carpet after I had already moved in for about a month which was great. The apartment manager, Xavier, is friendly, conscientious and communicative. He’s been awesome.

I have been here for around 4.5 years, & while it's not perfect, it's a fair place. Our current manager, Xavier, is the best yet. Fair, communicative, always willing to chat or help you out if he can, & he knows his business. He's also putting in major effort to fix the few issues & bring us together as a community. Recently he held a pool party & it was great.
Our maintenance guy, Manuel, does a decent job completing work orders, typically in a timely fashion.
As for the apartment complex itself, the apartments are small but sufficient, & the garages help. The amenities are kept in good condition & are usually available when they are supposed to be. With prior mgmt, complaints were often ignored, but current mgmt handles them swiftly. If there's an issue, they are typically willing to work with you to resolve it to everyone's satisfaction.
There is the occasional exception to the typical in everything, but overall, thumbs up. The biggest downside is that the area is bad with homeless folks & drug addicts on the interurban trail behind us & in the cul-de-sac, so wariness is crucial. Most other issues (such as parking, pets, and trash) stem from some poor tenants. The key here is that they are improving the place.

Would not recommend to anyone to live here. Only good thing was maintenance was done in a timely and quick manner. The front office admin are extremely elusive, almost never answer their calls. Crime is bad in the neighborhood. Had my license plates stolen and our bikes stolen. Homeless people sleep in their cars on the way into the complex. Other residents leave piles of trash out and can't be bothered to take care of it. There's also extreme mold problems that they will try to blame on you as well, which severely affected my health. The mold was in all rooms except the bathroom.

I've lived here for three months now, and have honestly enjoyed every part of the experience. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the maintenance, but every request I've put in has been dealt with in only a day or two, insanely fast. Fixes seem to work the first time. I put in a request to fix my bathroom fan that was dying, the next day I come home to find it already repaired.

I have been a long time resident at The Stinson and have enjoyed my stay since I moved in. The only downfall is management would change frequently and it was hard to get to know your manager and ask questions. Currently, we have a new manager named Marcus and he has been great since he has started and helps with with any questions I have. He always takes time to check in and see if everything is going great. I also appreciate how quick maintenance comes to fix my apartment.

I stayed at the Stinson for a year before relocating to Virginia. I had some challenges with management as it was difficult find anyone in the office. Some of the tenants do not care about parking rules, I have stayed in my car couple of times waiting for someone to move out of my spot or to move away from the dumpster so that I can have access to my parking spot which was close to the dumpster. I even wanted to call Avenue5 one time to report this issue because it was inconvenient. Manuella, the maintenance guy was super helpful. He was very quick in fixing issues in the apartment. Overall, I believe they have some improvement to do.
