About to be a year with this beautiful community, moved from California looking for the perfect home and I'm really happy we found The Tilden, really safe and peaceful community, own parking spot and always parking available when I have a visitor, 24/7 gym💪 love the pool, spa, the club house and all the amenities, Angela, Sonya and Rhyan are very friendly as is their entire team... I love the good vibes all around, I recommend them 100% ⚡️⚡️⚡️

We had water damage on our window sills from our plants due to the wonderful sunlight exposure we wanted to utilize. Our property manager responded by offering to replace the window sills with no charge out of understanding of our intentions to be plant parents lol. We expected to get charged, and are pleasantly surprised at their choice. Thank you for being understanding and we greatly appreciate it!

I lived at this property for about a year and overall, my experience was disappointing.

The apartment walls are extremely thin, making it difficult to enjoy any peace and quiet. if you are someone who works from home or wakes up early, the constant noise from neighbors—often at all hours—was a persistent issue that significantly impacted my daily routine and sleep.

Parking is limited and poorly managed, which added daily frustration. The quality of the units themselves leaves much to be desired, with cheap finishes and ongoing maintenance problems.

Additionally, animal waste was frequently left around the property, creating an unpleasant and unsanitary environment. Despite the presence of gates, they were rarely functional, offering little to no added security.

While the location may be convenient, the overall living conditions did not meet expectations for the price. I would recommend exploring other options before committing to this complex.

Wonderful staff. Absolutely will go above and beyond for you. Everyone is super friendly, wonderful to talk to, and if they don't know the answer to a question, they will find out for you in a timely manner.

Moving out was an absolute breeze as well. They didn't try to tag me with fees I didn't deserve or cause any issues for us.

If I wasn't forced to move due to the military, I would have stayed for at least a couple of years before we bought a house.

Thank you guys for being so cool about everything! I'll miss y'all.

Go somewhere else! While I have enjoyed living here, I want some issues addressed on this review which is going to be met with a snarky response from the management team. First- I bought items for the cable machine in the gym as there was only two handles available, after asking twice when I first moved in (if you look through the reviews someone else asked for medicine balls which still do not exist. Parking- I was told 10 months ago I was on a list to get a better parking spot, when one opened up right in front of my apartment I ran to the leasing office only to be told that spot went to the new tenant moving in (even though I was told spots aren’t assigned to apartments and that’s just laziness) so I carry groceries and a two year around the building in the rain still (parking matters and it sucks here). My lease expires in two months, I received a letter that if I go month to month after my lease ends my rent will be over $5100- ok! I’ll move! The tenants let their dogs go potty wherever, my toddler stepped in poop and tracked it upstairs- the management team has addressed this multiple times but the tenants still do not listen. The gates are a problem, again- not the staffs fault but the gates work/don’t work/ are broken constantly- there is no security with gates at this time! So beware.

In summary: nice apartments, smart layouts, and a pleasant neighborhood. I’ve been here 2.5 months.

Pros:

Layouts. I think the best thing going for this community is that the layouts really make good use of space. I’ve lived in many apartment communities with awkward floor plans: dead square footage lost in hallways or weirdly shaped entryways. While the kitchen is very compact in even the largest floor plan (that I rent) it offers a surprising amount of storage. Same for the bathrooms. The floor plans also offer decent windows as well.

Peaceful community. The community is very peaceful, quiet at night, and people have been friendly in my experience. Be aware, it seems most people own a dog, if that is a concern for you. There is a really decent playground in the middle of the community with covered picnic tables and a fire pit nearby. Pretty enjoyable common area.

Professional property management. All my interactions with leasing staff have been positive.

Meh/average:

Some of the interior finishes in the apartment seem rushed: baseboards that maybe needed another coat of paint or that were smashed together, for example. Nothing so glaring, but you’ll notice if you look.

The appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher) are all decent enough. Dryer seems to take forever to work so I’ve put a little less clothes in the washing machine with each wash. The fridge does not filter water and the tap water here has a definite taste that is not great.

Gym is okay and small - machines that it does have are new.

Cons:

Parking. You are only guaranteed one spot. And the unassigned parking is sort of peppered around the complex. The only recourse offered if someone takes an assigned parking space is to call a nearby towing company. This seems like a drastic measure and will cost somebody $500 cash and more if it is their only means of transportation. Also, when I first moved here I had a garage. Don’t bother paying for one unless you have a compact car. They are so small.

We were some of the first residents to move into the Tilden and I have to say this is the best apartment community I have ever lived in. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The grounds are very nice and well kept. Any maintenance issues are addressed quickly and easily taken care of. The amenities and common areas are really nice. It's also a plus that there's AC. Also we hardly ever hear in noise when in our apartments so it's definitely a nice and quiet place to live.

If you drive an EV, finding a charger can be difficult. Management has decided to use ev charging spaces for their electric golf cart even when not charging. There are only 4 chargers on site. The golf cart wouldn't even be using these chargers bc the output isn't even compatible. Complete nonsense and another way to screw over paying tenants. Moreover, the signage says only charging vehicles are authorized to park in EV spots. However, for some apparent reason it is okay for non compatible ev golf carts. This is a terrible business practice. Management needs their head checked. AC is fantastic in the units though for the warmer months. Gym is okay, sauna is nice, pool is fantastic. Do better with your worker parking.
