I am very pleased with this apartment complex. I have lived here for a little over a year and have decided to renew my lease.

There are two parks, and two hiking trails within walking distance and the area is safe without the presence of police constantly patrolling. Also there are no cockroaches, none outside and none inside. The floor is a beautiful wood grain, and the outside of the apartment is aesthetically pleasing.

The only downside is the use of roundup throughout the apartment complex, and that the pool doesn’t seem to be heated anymore.

The staff here are exceptional, from the office to the maintenance team!
Anytime I’ve had an issue someone got back to me promptly, and anything that needs work is taken care of. The neighbors are a delight, making this community feel more like a family. All in all, I feel at home here!

The community is wonderful and the staff is super pleasant and accommodating. The apartments are being upgraded for the better and they look stunning. I am proud to be a resident and very happy with my choice. Megan is a jewel, professional and super sweet. If I have an issue with anything they take care of it right away. I love the grounds and especially my apartment.

We lived here for about two years and had a great experience. The apartments are comfortable and updated, as well as the amenities. We had the chance to live in two different units during our time there - a 2nd floor, then 1st floor unit. We found that the first floor unit was a lot easier to keep clean due to the wood floors, and remained cooler compared to the 2nd floor unit (significantly reducing our electricity costs).

We have lived here for a little bit now and the villages have quickly felt like home. We had an issue with our dishwasher which was addressed immediately and a new one came sooner than anticipated. We also had an ant issue that was also resolved immediately. Lawrence and the villages maintenance staff have been welcoming, kind, and accommodating! We are loving living here in this clean, quiet community. Would recommend to anyone!

Hi everyone! I am moving out of this complex and wanted to give an honest review.

First off, this is the loudest apartment complex I have ever lived in. It’s not the residents at all it is the services that the administration schedules for what seems like EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Just this morning (what has triggered this review to be fully transparent), they have scheduled a tree to be cut down and grinded up at 7:30 AM. Additionally, they schedule their grounds maintenance almost every morning to be cutting the grass, blowing the leaves, etc. right outside your window consistently. As someone who works hybrid this is incredibly disruptive. Conveniently the office doesn’t open until 10am so they don’t have to deal with any of the noise.

Second, they recently opened up the complex to AirBnB. Not a huge deal until the parking lot started getting full and they announced this without consulting any of the residents. This place is pretty pricey for what you get to begin with.

Lastly, maintenance is fairly responsive unless you have a bigger issue. Our ceiling started leaking in the bathroom and they just kept telling us someone was going to come by. We gave them the days we would have someone home and the days that we would definitely not want someone to come by. They came by on a day we didn’t want anyone in the home and gutted the ceiling making a huge mess on the way out. Obviously a pretty niche complaint I would hope but just another thing I think should be considered before leasing here.

Again I cannot reiterate how bad the noise is.

Update: since they responded I thought I’d share more. They themselves are blocking parking spots right now (8/14 @ 7:30 am) cutting down more trees! LOL. They sent out an email the other day, as trees were being cut, saying “sorry for the late notice”.

Airbnb was offered to everyone in the complex through a mass email.

Also we signed a 1-year lease expecting to be able to enjoy all of our amenities but the pool, hot tub, and grills, were under construction for nearly HALF of our lease yet we paid the exact same amount.

Overpriced, there’s plenty of other spots in the area to rent from.

I lived at The Village at Del Mar Heights for the past 4 years with my wife, cat, and ultimately baby girl. I can honestly say that it was one of the best places we've ever lived. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Del Mar Highlands Town Center and drive to the beautiful beaches of Del Mar. The apartments are spacious and well-maintained, and the amenities are top-notch. There's a pool, fitness center, and ample visitor parking.

Note: The fitness center is so small that it's only big enough for one person at a time. But don't worry, there's never a line. 🙂

The management team is friendly and responsive, and they always go above and beyond to help their residents. I had a few maintenance issues during my time there, and they were always fixed quickly and efficiently.

I also really appreciated the sense of community at The Village. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, masks and all.

Overall, we had an amazing experience living at The Village at Del Mar Heights. It's a great place to live if you're looking for a beautiful, well-maintained apartment in a convenient location. I highly recommend it!

I moved into The Village a month ago and I absolutely love it. The community is nice and quiet and the neighbors are all so sweet and friendly. The landscaping is always clean and the property management team is the best I've dealt with! Tae and Danielle from the property management team have been absolutely amazing and so helpful. They are quick to respond and the service team is super accommodating. They walked me through questions I had about appliances and they always fixing things within a few days!
