I wanted to start off by saying that choosing The Villas at Anacapa Apartments has been the best decision we made for our living situation! From the moment we arrived, Moises has been exceptional in making our transition smooth and easy. Every question I had was answered promptly and professionally, which really put our minds at ease during the moving process.

The property itself is pristine and impeccably maintained, making it a pleasure to come home every day. The amenities are an added bonus that enhances our living experience even further. Our apartment is absolutely gorgeous and has truly exceeded our expectations.

We initially applied to four different apartment complexes in Ventura and Oxnard, but to be honest, Moises made us feel so comfortable and welcomed that we decided to retract our applications everywhere else. His dedication to ensuring we felt at home has made all the difference.

If you're looking for a place to call home, I highly recommend The Villas at Anacapa Apartments, and definitely ask for Moises! You won't regret it!

Moving into the Villas at Anacapa Canyon has been an amazing process. When my partner and I first wanted to tour the apartments, Moises always made himself available for us, whether we had an appointment or were a walk in for him. Our move in and signing of the lease was a very seamless process.
Moises has been great with providing necessary information and answering all of our questions.
The maintenance crew has also been kind and helpful! When I randomly needed assistance with my garage door, they were able to assist and fix the problem on such short notice.
The location is also a plus-beautiful and quiet.

Great new complex that is very clean and quiet. Great dog friendly place with numerous dog parks. Management is always there for you and is great at reminding you of any details that need your attention. They are great at helping you through the paperwork that is needed to move in. I worked with Moises who was quick to respond with the many questions I had. I’m sure he’s happy that I’m comfortably moved in and my questions are more rare.

When showing the apartments, Moises provided options that aligned perfectly with what was requested. Throughout the application process, his communication was clear and proactive, and he worked hard to make everything run smoothly, even with some logistical challenges.

After moving in, there were a few details in need of attention, and Moises promptly addressed and resolved them. His professionalism and consistency have remained strong from day one and continue to impress.

I find it quite interesting that most of the reviews never mention how bad the parking is.

The amenities are great, the apartments are modern and nice. The area is well maintained. The power is out at least twice a month. The location is ok. Kind of hidden. However, the parking situation is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! Finding parking is nearly impossible, and if you’re not careful, you’ll end up with tickets. There is reserved parking for the elderly that is never used. So your options are park illegally and get a ticket, park 40 miles away from your apartment (good luck being a woman living alone), or circle around for a minimum of 45 minutes until someone leaves.

What’s most frustrating is that I specifically asked about parking before moving in and was assured it wouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be further from the truth. While I understand the staff may not be directly responsible for the parking challenges, their lack of transparency and nonchalant attitude about it has been disappointing.

If you rely on parking, I would strongly recommend reconsidering or clarifying expectations before signing a lease.

In the beginning I was a bit hesitant on the villas, due to the living of apartment and not having the luxuries a house usually has.

However, after talking to Moises, he took the fears away. He showed us the apartment options and which one he thought would be best for the way me and my partner wanted to live.

So, the enthusiasm and welcome feeling Moises provided made it impossible to resist such a beautiful location.

Definitely recommend the place to people who want to live somewhere that likes to be surrounded by both nature and community, with a staff that is willing to help find the home that is best suited for you.

From touring the property to moving in (after about 500 follow-up calls), Moises and the Anacapa team, have been just angels in the truly stressful time of moving. Moises responded to every email and call quickly and with all the information we needed plus more. We have been very grateful for how knowledgeable, professional, and just kind and helpful Moises was for the process of moving in and continues to be as we settle and look forward to making Anacapa our home. Additionally, just want to give a special shout out to the maintenance team. They have very kindly accommodated our no shoes/please wear shoe covers request and also been so quick, professional, and kind in every request we have made. I wish I had better words for the Anacapa team, but that’ll have to do.
