*update Kathy was done with all my intake process within a week and i have a new home. It is quiet and comfortable here. The people i have met have all been friendly but not intrusive. I am very happy and content here. Kathy has been consistently helpful, patient and pleasant. Thank you, again, Kathy.

Living here has been a pleasant experience. Management ( Kathy and Kyler ) do a great job at keeping the property well-maintained. And there are lots of fun activities to get involved in. The residents are quiet, respectful, and glad to help each other out when needed. A very nice community for seniors !

This place has really gone down over the past 4 months. These pictures are of the ceilings as you walk towards your apartment in various parts of the community. It is very embarrassing especially if you want to have company the ceilings have been like this for months. There are new leaks in different parts of the hallway every other week or at least once a month and they refuse to fix this situation. People's apartments have actually had leaks and they were forced to move to different apartments. And then they had the audacity to send me a form letting me know that the rent will be going up in January.🤔🤨 I've also included pictures of carpet stains in the hallways of people's animals not making it outside. When I asked about having the carpets cleaned because it looks really bad, I was informed that they have to be cleared for some type of funding or whatever I was told to be able to shampoo the carpets.

This place has gone down hill. Maybe new management is needed. They do not keep the common areas clean, carpet in the stairwells are gross. There are Way better, senior living options close by in addition all of the new apartments that are being built around this complex will make traffic and that area a nightmare.

This year is my 17th year of living here. It is a secure building for which I feel safe. Everything is convenient....mail, trash room,etc. I enjoy the view of the ponds and wildlife, ducks, birds.

This is my fourth year living in Vintage. These last 3 months have been a travesty. Due to a leak in my bathroom, two large dehumidifiers were placed in my bathroom. The temp at one time was 105. This went on for over a week. To use the toilet, I had to climb over the counter to unplug the machines. Since the dehumidifier didn’t work, we are waiting for a new cabinet. Other needed repairs are on hold so the maintenance man will just have to come back to my apt just once. The thermostat does not work. It is basically an on/off switch. Already I am manually switching the heat on these cool mornings and off when it gets too warm. When I open the dishwasher, it falls forward from under the cabinet. Several times I have missed catching the free flying racks. One door of my closet is completely detached. The other door must be woman-handled to open and close.

The management is unresponsive to my pleas for repairs.

The 2 stars are for these maintenance issues.

Maintenance takes awhile to get completed. But now that we have a full-time guy, I hope that improves. This summer the air conditioning in the social hall did not work all summer. Now the heat is not working. This place needs to be torn down or completely renovated. The hallway walls have holes filled and need painted. The carpets need cleaning more often, the outside needs pressure washed, and the siding is rotting and needs replaced. Stop sending me this email to rate how things are here if you don't want to hear the truth.

Our latest manager is really working hard to get some long neglected issues fixed, like cleaning the hall carpets, bad water pipes fixed, etc.! She is a huge supporter of our "special" events like Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. and has gone out of her way to get to know each resident and to keep things harmonious between us old coots! I have enjoyed every conversation we have had and just the other day she asked me how my Physical Therapy for my back was doing. It was very nice to know she remembered that! She really gets things accomplished around her and when you have a manager that you feel will champion your cause makes me a lot more forgiving when something does go wrong!!!
