My company, RoomChazer, rents from many property management companies in San Diego. Our experience with Torrey Pines at the Pacific at Mission Bay Apartment complex in Pacific Beach has been one of the best.

To us the most important qualities of a property management company are great communication, timely maintenance repairs, and friendly customer service. Luizanna and Silvia have been able to deliver on these 3 points in a very professionnal, timely, and friendly manner.

Maintenance requests are being addressed quickly, especially important ones - our balcony started showing structural issues and the team was sent out for assessment and repairs immediately.

Timely communication by texts and emails are being sent for all the happenings that could affect our quality of life - noise due to uptake/upgrade of property, laundry room closure for repairs, roof repairs tree trimming, etc....

Luizanna at the lease office welcomes with a big smile, ready to help and making you feel welcome.

My take-away: no apartment complexes will come with zero issues. There is always something annoying that will be coming up. What makes the difference between a great place to live at/great management team and a bad one is how the problems are being handled and managed.... We've loved how Torrey Pines is managing the Pacific at Mission Bay.

The little extra we very much appreciate are the preventative tips to avoid issues such as how to get ready for termite season, for the holiday/cooking season, etc.... and the community events.

Thank you to the Pacific at Mission Bay Team and the overall Torrey Pines Company for setting such great standards in property management!

I rented an apartment from this company. I have nothing but GREAT experience. I lived in 720 East mission ave Escondido and the apartment was spacious, clean and fair price. Compared to San Diego rentals. I loved the neighbors and most have lived there for a long time. I had a couple of problems while I was there. A water leak from the above unit and I forgot the other one. I reported it online and both times, they fixed it quickly.
Paying rent was online too for free!!

The property manager’s name is Barbara and I think she’s the most beautiful person inside out. Super helpful and pleasant to talk to.
Unfortunately, I had to move out of SD for work reasons but if I come back, I will definitely rent from this company.

The worst of the worst. Expect annual/maximum rent increases. Ignored maintenance requests and then accusing the tenant of causing any damage rather than admitting that the building is falling apart. Frequent harassment by inspections with little to no notice. Property manager Thao is quite rude and threatens to charge tenants for any maintenance issues related to aging properties. STAY AWAY FROM TPPM!!
This is not misinformation in anyway just facts. It seems that TPPM has a team that will try and negate this review but rest assured this a first hand account of how the company treats its tenants!

They need to train their property managers properly. Country apartments manager Laura Acosta is extremely rude and disrespectful. Doesn’t know how to talk to renters. She acts like country apartments is a five star complex, whereas its the worst complex you could ever live in. Extremely dangerous location, you will always hear police sirens around the location. Dogs wastes everywhere in the compound. Homeless people always messing around with trash and throwing it all over the place. In summer, our apartment used to turn into oven. So make sure you book your hotel room for the days which are hot. Last but not the least, laundry is non-functional most of the time. However when it works it will ruin your clothes! Hopefully after seeing the review, TPM will at least train Laura Acosta properly.

Do not recommed this company due to their disrespect they have for the local communities and neighbors. They moved a dumpster from a location that did not interfere with the local enviroment to right under an adject properties window. Now the entire unit smells like trash. When they were approached about the subject their response was "deal with it". Hope this is not their response to their tentants if they have an issue. Our communities and neighborhoods are what make living in San Diego great and this is not a way to treat others.
