We bought a new house in Trilogy about 7 months ago. We absolutely love, love our new home and our neighborhood! We downsized, but with 10 foot ceilings, a HUGE gourmet kitchen, it sure doesn't feel like we downsized. Our neighborhood is lush with greenery; HOA takes care of maintenance of front yard; we love the Lodge. We use the fitness facility almost every day; have gone to multiple events; taken some fitness classes; love, love the restaurant! It's your own private restaurant with private fitness facilities. Our neighbors are much like us: all have moved from somewhere else, mostly to be closer to our kids. Everyone seems to have been a professional in a previous life, love to travel, and seems very nice and intelligent. Our backyard even has a view of the mountain. Working with Shea Homes was very easy. Tehaleh is just beautiful. We visit our kids in downtown Seattle on weekends, and only about a 45 minute drive on those days. Our own little oasis, but grocery shopping is just down the hill, 10 minutes or so. Definitely a hidden gem of the Seattle metro area.

The homes aren’t architecturally appealing IMO, especially the 55+ designs are really bland. The surrounding area is beautiful, and some of the commercial offerings are nice. I’m not a fan of the coffee shop in Tahaleh- it’s over run w kids, disorganized and dirty; and it feels like an after thought.

I loved the Liberty plan. I was ready to purchase. They put me on a wait list for the lot. They wouldn’t tell me how many lots might be available or how many people were ahead of me initially. After first month wait, I was told there had been 8 people ahead of me and 2 purchased. I replied so there are 6 ahead of me now. They said not necessarily because we contact people in order of who visits first, not who is ready to purchase. I was annoyed by that but was going to wait. I was then told 3 times to look elsewhere as there was zero to none chance I would get a lot. Oh, one other thing is they were trying to sell the proclaim model to me that was already completed. I did as they said and looked and found a Shea home that was a year old in the same community. Just one month later, I happen to see online the Liberty for sale completed. I was still on the wait list. No one contacted me to inform me of the home up for sale. I was furious when I contacted them. I asked what happened to the 6 people ahead of me and why was I not contacted about this Liberty that is complete. They could not answer what happened to the people ahead of me, nor did they have an answer for why they had not contacted me to tell me if the completed one available. They then said well would you like to purchase the one available? I said I already purchased a home as I was told to look elsewhere since there was zero to none chance for me to get the Liberty. They could care less that they gave me false information possibly because they wanted to sell their completed Proclaim. They do not care about customers whatsoever. I do like the home I purchased, but it is not what I originally fell in love with. It is smaller than I needed. I was not wanting to be in the neighborhood. I sew. I fell in love with the Liberty because I would have finally had my dream sewing room. It is devastating to me that they are still selling these models and I could have had my dream sewing room in retirement; but I don't because BreAnn lied to me in order to push the Proclaim. No apology was ever offered to me from anyone at Shea.

Came all the way from CA. decided to drop by since we were passing by the area. Young girl won’t provide an answer on cost of HOA? Must have an appointment? Won’t let us see model home must have an appointment or can provide a virtual tour. Why would I do a victual tour when I am at your doorstep? Nah.. won’t buy and deal w/this type of snooty business. Not very accommodating for walk-in information.

The service and follow up here are good. But, eventually this community will be over 4,500 homes so the area can be very confusing. The quality of the 55+ homes is amazing. Wed love to live here if they were smaller. Shea is opening a smaller property in Maple Valley, but they are all duplexes. Hope they build singke family 55+ homes on the south end in a smaller community soon.

We have lived in Trilogy for 1.5 years. Neighbors are great, nice community but home building is questionable. Hardie siding is nice for long term wear but they used white wood trim instead of Hardie trim that will need to be replaced much sooner. Nice 2x6 construction but many low end finish choices, like no soft close doors on cabinets. . Floating floors that creak and pop constantly. Poorly designed bathrooms with door trims in bathrooms cut to fit vanity backsplashes, Looks very much like a DIY update where home owner didn’t care about a professional look . Cheap Fiberglass shower and tub inserts. Cheap 1/8” shower doors. Not enough room for vanity drawers to roll out without Hitting closet door handles unless door completely closed. Bathroom closet with half the space behind a wall so access is difficult, rather unusable. With a premium home price you would expect a better architecturally designed layout. An extra foot or two on dimension would solve many of the issues I have regarding an above market cost. High RE taxes. HOA fees currently $245 month. Shea creates a sense of home owner involvement by allowing 2 seats to be held by home owners but 3 seats by Shea employees. There’s no mistake what a 2 to 3 vote has meant and will mean, Shea will decide all issues regardless of home owner concerns . Home owners have no real influence only a false sense of involvement via monthly home owners meetings. Pool and club house are nice but pool has been non functioning more than not during our time here. Employees are very nice.

Looks like a great place to drop off your kids and escape to freedom, I’m sure someone else will care for them ! ! ! The community, the residents look exceptionally inbred; BEWARE.

Beautiful area and very nice homes for this "peaceful" 55 and over. I know Tao and Robert will love their home here in a few years.
