I am a resident here at Turtle Creek II apartments, today was pest control. I live here with my 2 girls and I am highly allergic to cockroaches, and they are EVERYWHERE. Cockroaches in my kitchen, my bedroom, my bathroom, and living room. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment ground floor.
1 bite and I am in the hospital. My husband came over this morning to help me to get my counters and cupboards cleaned out.
The pest control came at 9:30, I had a few things left out on the counters, which would only take 2 mins to cleaned off. The pest control just up and left and told me that he would get to me another day.
I called the Resident Relations to complain about the Maintenance and Rid-a-Pest control. DO NOT RENT FROM LINDSEY MANAGEMENT THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PROPERTY OR THEIR RESIDENTS HERE.

Do not be fooled by the so called pretty pictures, they do not look like those.

I have decided to contact the city inspector for my apartment because maintenance or Lindsey in general will NOT fix my apartment. When we moved here in the summer, we wondered why it was always so hot even though our apartment's AC was running all day. A $400 electric bill each month! Now here in the winter it's so cold, my children have to wear jackets inside because THERE ARE HOLES IN MY APARTMENT! 3 Squirrels have made there way inside and every time I call about it, it will take them 2 weeks to come out and say there's nothing they can do. An ex-maintenance man told me they won't fix my apartment until I leave but I just got here! Please be careful choosing your apartment here or any Lindsey location. The news will also be contacted

Before you think about moving here, you need to ask yourself the following questions:

1. Do I want people doing drugs on my porch all day?
2. Do I want to listen to those people play loud music while they do drugs on my porch all day?
3. Do I want the inside of my apartment to permanently smell like I have a drug addiction because of the people outside my living room who apparently have nothing to do but smoke pot all day?
4. Do I want my air conditioner to break in the middle of the summer, only for maintenance to mark it as being fixed without ever showing up?
5. Do I want my hot water to disappear every time my heater turns on during the winter?
6. Do I want a cockroach infestation that I have to fight tooth and nail to get pest control to stop ignoring?
7. Do I want to rent under a manager who threatens to kick you out if you file a complaint? (Not that anybody WANTS to stay here, but with rent prices being what they are...)

If you said no to one or more of those questions, then you should stay far, far away.

I have Lived at turtle creek 2 for for 10 years, when i moved in there i didn't have Asthma. I told them about the mold time after time and all they do is paint over it. When I moved out they charged me an extra paint fee and extra cleaning fee. when I made sure the apartment was cleaned. I called Debbie is Relations and she told me i better be glad i wasn't charged for the carpet. She told me to deal with it I signed the contract. I am not looking for amy deposit back but after 10 years I shouldn't owe anything. Very rude and full of bullies including Betty the manager.

They raised the rent 100 dollars for what? The lack of cleaning or fixing that gets done. Half the time they don't even answer the phone while the maintenance dude sits on his golf cart all day. Why did it take a month and a half to fix my A/C? Then after asking for a reimbursement for that time, she says "Everyone's bills are high". These people don't care and like to harass renters who just want them to keep up with their terrible buildings. My bathroom, closet and washer/dryer area are the same degrees as the outside temperature, how does that happen. Don't even bother talking to Betty(manager), she doesn't even know what her office people are doing most of the time.

Management person doesn't polite. Plus Lindsey Apartments decline in their standars of cleaning and maintenance. So sad I used to live there back in the first decade of this century 2000 and was five star place to live.

We try not to ask for much to get fixed because we don't want to be annoying. We have had a few problems with plumbing and electrical in the one story townhouse. It's not a bad place to live but the silly rules are well silly. They said they were going to be painting in June and never came out to do the painting but they told us we could have no items on the patios ECT. Not a terrible place but of you are just moving it's not like you get much of a choice.

Upon moving out we were told we would have to pay roughly half of our remaining lease since we were moving out early. This was all fine and dandy. We got the final bill called them (two separate people) and asked to make sure the amount listed was all we owed. The very next day we get a call saying we owe $300 more due to a new girl messing something up. We are going to pay it, but when I was I medical billing also a contract situation if you told the patient this was a final bill you were not allowed to charge them more.

I have visited several residents at Turtle Creek Apts and at Turtle Creek townhouses
Sufficent parking, easy access in and out of each unit, small play area and pool. Unfortunately rent continues to increase. Overall happy. Central location, easily accessibile to shopping, groceries and fast food.
