Rented a truck here, asked the agent helping me how much each additional day would cost in the event I needed to keep the truck one day extra. She (and the other man who was sitting at the register next to her) both immediately responded and said that each additional day would cost $40. Thought that was reasonable, so I decided to keep the truck one additional day beyond the initial contract. When we asked how to go about returning the truck to a location that was labeled as a “neighborhood dealer,” she said, “You just drop it off.” Never mentioned anything about an app, after hours fees, and lied about a one hours grace period. To my surprise, when I pulled up to the location listed as the drop-off at 1:30PM NO ONE was around. There were no instructions posted anywhere, no information, nothing to indicate that Uhaul even operated there other than a few other parked trucks. Called this location and was put on hold over 20 minutes while I frantically tried to figure out the return process. Called Uhaul customer service when no one picked up the line in Cat City and waited another 30 minutes to be told I needed to download an app, take several pictures, and find the drop-box for the keys. I sat in a parking lot for over and hour and a half trying to figure out the process and when I finally finished my truck was over an hour and a half late. Who would’ve thought? I was charged $140 dollars extra because the person who helped me rent this truck did nothing to explain the return process, withheld that there was a DAILY insurance rate, misinformed me about a 1 hour grace period, and was not forthcoming about the actual cost for each day the truck was late. I was charged $100 more than I expected to pay Uhaul. You guys should be ashamed for taking advantage of people in this economy and if this isn’t made right, I won’t be returning. I have been a loyal Uhaul customer for over 40 years. $100 is nothing to this company, but it is everything to an elderly woman.

Everything went great. I sold my large Palm Springs house and bought a condo. The condo sellers recommended Eddie Rivero as an excellent and reasonable local mover and he in turn recommended the Cat City U-haul to rent a truck. It all went very well.

The store clerk, Rodrigo was knowledgeable and so helpful. The truck was so nice, only 3K miles on it and was easy to drive. Had CarPlay too! Super nice. The drop box key return made things effortless and stress-free.

I thought i had made a reservation for a movie truck online by the end of the long process of refusing all these different services and products they tried to push on u- i got to the end of the section where i had verified my phone number completed which led me to believe i had made a reservation for the vehicle because they say to keep the quote i just recieved and and can view on the page so the store knows thats the quote i got online. When i get to the store a little vefore 430 i show the unprofessional girl at the desk who felt like her text messaging response to her friend o vacation was way more important tells me i dont have a resorvation and that they are only processing onlime resorvations. I explained to her i have one or was made to think i had one since i had verified my phone number with them and given this quote i was to show them so they honor it incase they were to quote me something different instore- she said she doesnt see one- i then said its weird cause the website makes you feel like a person does make a resorvation. I then asked her what i did wrong so she can correct me - i began to make a another reservation online and as i go through the rediculous long online submission process i see she is on her phone as well thinking she was going to show me where i failed in the online process only to find out she was texting her friend on vacation as she says outloud to anyone who might be interested in her personal affairs while on the job " my friend needs to quit texting me and just go on with his vacation abd leave me alone". I then asked her did you see where i messed up as i show her the page where it says save the quote? She said she doesnt know how the website reservation works but says that she is only helping people who have a reservation- when there is nobody in thr store but me to help! This girl was rude - and as i left i told here she could hae done the right thing and pa attetion to what i was showing her what i did making the reservation or better yet see it was confusing and offer to make complete a a sale right there but instead she was lazy and uninterested in making a sale and showed no concern of this being an issue. I told her she was lazy and could havd been helpful instead of ignoring the sale and issue at hand about the missleading promps about saving quote for store if getting a quote to show store isnt final step it needs to tell the person thst there are more steps to complete before resevation is final or complete .

I was dropping off trailer with no one in sight. After unhitching myself I drove around looking for worker. Found two of them having a cigarette break where they can't be seen or see the lot. After joking with them for hiding, the girl started yelling and charging at my vehicle. Very professionally. I just wanted to be sure they checked in my trailer. I complained to corporate and the end result is I'm banned from this location. I've used them weekly for years and thought I could joke with them. The girl is a new employee, all are, and I guess her story was better than mine. Now using other locations never to return.
