It’s in a great location next to campus and walking distance to downtown. The staff are really nice and they put on events that everyone likes (free food). Theres no in unit dryer or washer but the little laundry room they have is never too busy. You have to pay to use the machines. There’s a community garden. Less points because I’ve had my wallet stolen here and sometimes I don’t feel the safest. The rent is crazy high, especially for not having some of the amenities of other apartments of the same price (no pool, no gym, no in unit washer dryer, NO A/C). I pay 950 a month right now but that’s cause I just signed, they won’t raise your price as much if you renew your lease. The maintenance team is super nice and fixes things quickly. There’s always plenty of parking and parking is free. Overall it’s a nice apartment, if not a little old and lived in. There’s a lot of families that live here which I like. They allow pets for an additional fee.

University square has been a good place to live. Maintenance is pretty responsive and apartment life holds a few events a month which has been great in getting to know the community. The apartments are fairly old themselves. Cabinets could use a face lift but overall a very livable space.

My experience living at University Square was the best I've ever had living in apartments. The office staff was responsive, caring, and kind. I had to move to a different location because I needed a washer and dryer in my unit but I wish I could have taken the staff with me! The office staff and maintenance both addressed my issues in a timely and professional manner. I feel like they also took the time to known me as a person which is hard to find.

I've lived here for two years and am moving soon to another state. I would definitely continue living here if I could stay in Flagstaff. The community is nice, with a mix of students, families, and regular working people. Management does their best, and the maintenance guy is great. Last winter there were issues with the hot water and consequently heat - maintenance showed up in the middle of the night and while heat was out, space heaters were available at no cost to us. They don't try to nickel and dime you out of every possible cent. The grounds are kept in great shape, with beautiful landscaping and constant efforts at repainting and refinishing buildings and features so that they don't even begin to look worn-down. For example, they just repainted the yellow warnings on sidewalks where there's a step - for the second time since I've been here. Overall this is a nice and comfortable place that sets a high standard for my future living spaces.

This apartment complex is awesome! Super close to NAU campus, nice staff, and apartments are a good size for what you pay for. The bedrooms are big enough to share with another person, (they charge for the whole unit as a whole and not per person, so you're not getting scammed out of your money.) The kitchens are really big also, which is a comment I got a lot from visitors. The only thing I wish that we had is a gym/more amenities. But overall very comfortable apartments, I really enjoy living here!

Great place to live! While the units are a little small, the complex itself is wonderful to live in. The staff from the front office is so kind, caring, and giving. They are really good at getting on top of maintenance issues and being fast about it. Having a laundromat in the complex is very convenient as well. University Square does a great job at trying to bring the community together and they show great appreciation for the people that live here.

I do love living at University Square. The people in the community are so nice and the management and staff are very helpful. Only problems I have are with the lighting in the complex and a few inconsistencies with emails. The porch lights and sidewalk lamps are often off for a few weeks at a time. They do fix the issue as promptly as they can once it's brought to their attention, but it's a common occurrence where the lights will be on for a few days then off for a few weeks then back on again. There are also a few inconsistencies with emails as they will send out one saying one thing then a few weeks later say the exact opposite. (For example they asked us to not take spots that others cleared the snow out of then 3 weeks later sent out an email telling residents that they cannot regulate "reserved" spots based on whether they were cleared out.) To me these are not major issues and living here has still been very pleasant and they do address issues with maintenance and other topics very quickly.
